ID8 V.4 D4 - Image Dynamics 8" 350W RMS Dual 4-Ohm ID V.4 Series Subwoofer

I built an entire SQ system setup in my Ford Maverick and this sub is the ONE. I have it in a .46cuft sealed box as specs said, and it gets the job done. I'm pushing it with a Rockford fosgate 250.1 at 2ohms and it is more than enough sound. I wasn't trying to wake the neighbors up with an SPL setup and this fits every check in my box!

I love this sub! I am using this in my 2013 Genesis Coupe. I installed it myself in the stock location where a sub would go. Because I am using it as a free air sub, I am underpowering it, and using a really cheap $50 Boss amp, and it has been perfect. For being an 8inch sub, and being free air. This thing really bumps nicely! It has enough bass where it can be so loud, that you can hear things rattling around, and overpowering the passenger's voices. But yet is quiet enough to not be obnoxious and annoying. It is definitely louder than the stock sub that comes with the Premium Infiiniti sound system on my car. I receive lots of compliments on my setup, and all while still saving my trunk space by not using a box. I am extremely happy with my setup and my purchase.

Sounds great. Adds the right amount of bass, just what I was looking for.

Love these 8” subs. They go deep on the bass and only require .35cuft of airspace sealed enclosure!! I have these in my car and ram truck!

Right out of thr box you can see and feel the quality of these speakers. Used this in a transmission line box and paired with an Alpine V-power 400w RMS. Really good frequency response, with some punch. I highly recommend it.

I inherited a 4ohm DVC Image Dynamics 8 inch sub from my dear Aunt when she sold her SUV and I've hooked it up to an JLaudio JX300 bridged to 1 channel Sub wired to 2 ohm which amp is not rated for but (i didnt bother checking and just plugged it in)and it handled it just fine and hit really good ! i currently have it running off a 200wat 2.1 bluetooth receiver amplifier 50x2 and 100x1 and it sounds amazing @ 100watts in a sealed box that from what ive gathered is 3/4 of a CF !

This speaker is a perfect fit for the factory subwoofer box in the back. You will have to make new holes, but it fits the recess perfectly. The output is incredible. It was a night and day difference from the 6" subwoofer installed previously.
