Handpan Pygmy 440hz, inch

This is the real deal. Very intuitive and inspirational. I am a keyboard player with percussion pads that I use to trigger my synthesizers to create drum loops to accompany the keyboards. This is a vey different experience. The sound is much warmer than a synthesized steel drum and the limited number of tones in the peculiar scale is actually very intuitive and inspirational.It is supposed to be played on your lap but I don't really have a lap so my wife came up with a stand from a table. I added the duc-tape to improve the sound. It is very sensitive, when the dog barks it rings a very pleasant sound.The case is amazing, worth $400 by itself. My only criticism is that the manufacturer, Tzevaot, advises oiling the drum monthly but doesn't recommend a particular oil. they seem very accessible but I haven't asked them yet.I am glad I bought this instrument, I am certain it will provide me with many hours of entertainment.
