This book is a great read, it gives you everything you need to fight those spiritual demons that live amongst us and cause so much grief in our lives. It helps because it correlates directly with the Bible, where all of our strength and courage comes from. For me being new to the Bible I was able to recognize passages I have read, not knowing that just by picking up my Bible I was already fighting. I believe this book needs to be read especially for those who have ever thought something was wrong with someone we loved, it helped me recognize somethings that might be affecting people close to me.

A book that every holy spirt filled person needs to read. The book describes the spiritual warfare and the different tactics that the devil and demons use to weaken,discredit and to destroy a child of God. Tom Brown does an excellent job with explaining with scriptures, ways to defeat demonic forces in high places, government, schools and churches. A must read book for people who are tried of the devil and demons overtaking their lives and communities.

Excellent through and through with lessons I hadn't learned despite over 20 years as a Christian. Author has an engaging style that goes from deep scriptural teachings to entertaining personal anecdotes.

Pastor Tom Brown knows exactly what he is talking about. He is the only one who completely understood what I went thru. Demon possesion Every Christian should be required to read his section on warfare of the mind. Absolute classic. His section on spirital warefare tells us what we are up against and how to deal with it. I bought this book because I wanted to know how to cast out Demons but it is so much more. I give this book my highest recommendation.

This book is extremely helpful to me in getting delivered from the spirits that can take up a strong position of influence in your life and ministry when you have been deeply wounded and/or abused in your home or in the church.

This work is OK for basic knowledge and introduction into deliverance, but lacked credibility for me. Simply my opinion (don't get your wig in a knot), but it appeared that Mr. Brown lacked real experience with demons because his stories failed a first hand experience test for the most part. My impression was that Mr. Brown took bits and pieces from many deliverance books available and applied the cut and paste method in this work. Why do I say that? I believe this is the case because he contradicts himself often. For example, he talks about the importance of counseling and teaching attached to deliverance, and then the next chapter he is casting out a demon from a non-believer while holding a vacuum cleaner with no teaching or counseling. Another example, he writes a lot about self-control, self-discipline, and not blaming everything (addictions, smoking, lust, etc) on demons influencing you. Then in another section of the book, he relates how demons are controlling and influencing geographical areas and cities. Again, just my opinion, but the book seemed to be "in the middle" and refused to just take a stand on one concept or the other. A lot of fence walking here. On one hand, Mr. Brown is firm that demons cause problems in people and on the other hand he believes that people cause their own problems, and this wishy-washy stance left me a little confused and concerned on exactly Mr. Brown's real life experience in demonology. I realize I take a big risk here for calling this one out, but I disliked Mr. Brown's bragging about all his secular media shows and considering a reality show where he casts out demons for entertainment purposes. The opening of the book has quotes from The History Channel, 20/20 ABC, MSNBC Investigates, among others. My opinion again is that a real deliverance minister with a pure heart for the afflicted need not be involved in Satan's kingdom to promote themselves. I only quote what he himself placed in his own book, and did not make this up. I gave it a three, which is more than fair. It is not a bad book filled with heresy, but it is not a good book either and best not touted as being one of the greatest out there on the subject. There is nothing original in this book. Nothing. Ministers like the late Derek Prince are/were much more authentic and true. I recommend Derek Prince's "They Shall Expel Demons" if you want to learn the truth without the hype.

Every believer weather a Pastor or a housewife should read this book. It increases ones knowledge of who we are in Christ and how we with renewing of our minds can be victorious. Excellent read which can be read over and over again.
