5 stars for Rough Country The product is good quality and well built. The install is pretty straight forward. The only bracket that requires a little bit of thought is the front Z bracket that bolts near the power steering reservoir. (This bolt was missing, but I don’t fault RC for this) As for mileage and power gains I’ll post an update after a few tanks. 3 stars for Amazon I ordered a new unit and received an open product that showed size of prior install on another individuals vehicle. There were parts all over the box and wife thought it was surely broken when she brought it in the house. I could have returned it and got a replacement but I waited over a month for this one to get here. I contacted Amazon to just get a credit and keep the opened box unit I received. After about 30 minutes on with customer service I received a $50 credit. Every thing was in the box except one bolt. Which I’ll grab from the hardware store next time I’m in there.

I haven't modded cars in many years, but I was getting that itch again. Saw this CAI for sale and it was at a fantastic price point. Another name brand of a similar design was $200 more. No name lookalikes were $50 less, but Rough Country is a known brand I can trust. Materials are good quality, as is the hardware. Instructions are ok, but not the greatest. If you have installed one before, you should have no problems. Installation was straightforward and took me about 45 minutes. Once done, I did a test drive and the sound was fantastic, albeit loud at WOT. I just laughed and smiled everytime I got on throttle. Lots of smiles per mile!

Good looking intake, took me total 20 minutes to build, and put in my 2016 Toyota Tacoma limited 4x4. I put 3 stars because I haven’t seen how it handles, and because it was missing one clamp so I had to use one of the old ones. Other all seems solid fits perfect

This kit was super easy to install. It took me about an hour to remove the existing air box and install the new cold air intake. It looks really clean under the hood of my truck and sounds awesome! When I step on the gas pedal, there is a super loud and deep hum from under the hood. I have only had it on my 2022 Tacoma for about 2 months now, and have increased my average fuel mileage by just short of 2 MPG. Super happy with this as it is far cheaper and as good of quality as other name brand cold air intakes. I have used numerous Rough Country products and they are always great and affordable!

Product seems to work well. I have much more power and throttle response. The mounting blocks (3) all broke when trying to screw down. I had to modify rubber feet and screw down with self tappers. Other than that it works and looks good.

Amazing add on for added eng performance. Ive gained 2.5 -3 mpg and have only had it installed a couple days. I highly recommend

Do not buy this product. Absolute garbage quality. Nothing lines up or fits, some parts had to be drilled and after install was complete it just looks and feels cheap, which it is. I will be removing the entire thing and returning ut asap. Also, the “growl” it claims to give the engine, sounds horrible. Which I could give it zero stars.

Installed in about 30 mins, sounds great on my 2022 Tacoma and noticeable response to my truck. Looks sharp and really good quality.

Install instructions were a bit vague but everything came together just fine. Not sure what holes people say they had to drill! The heat shield bolted down into existing holes. I think people get thrown as the stock bolt holes are not used with this intake. You use the smaller mounting holes closer to the fender wall. Bit over the top loud if you floor it. Regular pedal application gives you a nice tone. Had these on other cars and like them. Disappointing you can’t buy extra filters to swap when you clean the element.
