A little extra protection!!!
I have been using these kind of knifes for years!!! I bought this set for my wife and daughter when the go out of town or country with out me!!!! You can take them on and off of a cruise ship with no problem. And they are less bulky than a dive knife. I hope I or they never have to use them but some times when you get a cab in Mexico or any other country, even New York. You never know what can happen. Trust me they / I are no 007 but that doesn't mean you shouldn't go down with out a FIGHT!!!! Take what I say with a grain of salt but also be prepared no matter what or where your at.

If you are paranoid like me and need to have something sharp to open a box or letter in an area where sharp metal items are forbidden, get this set- it has no metal and will not activate any detectors. Now you will always be prepared to open that cardboard box or seal package even in a "no knife zone".

Not the A. G Russell Cia Letter Opener.
It's not the genuine CIA letter opener that I owned for years. It doesn't have a spine with a blood groove and it is shorter and more cheaply made. The ice scraper is useful removing ice.
