It is apparently appointed TO DIE
Nothing lasts forever. This includes this particular magnetic charger by Garmin. Honestly, I have no complaints. I am utilizing a commercial GPS daily. My equipment is windshield mounted. That means the Garmin products are exposed to sunlight(intensified by the windshield) and also heat/cold from HVAC. My equipment started to malfunction at or around 7 years of usage. I thought it was my LMT unit and replaced the battery firstly, then for $20 shipped(as it was no longer available) Garmin replaced the actualLMT itself. Then, the replacement unit wouldn't work or hold a charge. Purchased a replacement cord, didn't work. Plugged a cord directly into GPS bypassing the magnetic mount...ACTION. Hindsight, the replaced battery 🔋 was probably a good move because it started to not hold charge. But the magnetic charger was the culprit!!! When the replacement suction cup and magnetic mount arrived, 👌🏾 all is well. I switch between diesel units, so both suction mounts are being utilized. Another win for Garmin and Amazon, as the ordered replacement arrived next day.

It work's However with the large screen 780 it won't stay in place like the origional use to, Kinda loose joint. But it's an offical Garmen Product.

Good but expensive
The only one that has worked properly for years in a semi truck with my Garmin Nuvi GPS. My only complain is its price which I consider extreamly expensive for a cheap piece of rubber and plastic.
