Such a great little fountain!
This was so simple and inexpensive, for such results. I made a little diy birdbath for my small apartment balcony, and put this little solar pump in it. It works beautifully, just as is, out of the box, with none of the attachments. My bowl is 16” wide, I used river rocks to anchor the pump in the center. It’s a perfect little bubbler for the bird bath, which attracts birds. The attachments work great, but in a smaller bowl such as mine, it would cause the water to splash out. If it were about 20” wide or larger, this would not be a problem. I like the fact it only works with the sun, and as it gets darker, it stops. It will prolong the life of the pump. Perfect solution for a sunny bird bath!

Don’t buy for bird baths!
Works good and instantly. But too big for my bird bath. Tried the different nozzles. This is DEFINITELY MEANT FOR PONDS that is bigger than 2 feet!!!! The wind was blowing and the sprayed water was being sprayed outside of the bird bath so the bath was empty within a couple of hours. Fortunately I tried it when I was home. Hoping there is a smaller fountain that I can get. Other than that, it looks beautiful and it definitely works. Just need a big enough bath that the water stays inside. It gets really high up in the bright sunlight and it lowers a lot when it is cloudy. I really wish it worked out. :(

Works okay for a short time
It worked for a while. Definitely too high/powerful spray for a birdbath and all the water would be gone. I knew it wouldn't run constantly bc my birdbath is only in the sun a few hours a day but it was nice while it lasted. Bought it in April and it's June 8th and it's no longer working. I kept water clean and regularly cleaned the pump. Glad it wasn't expensive.

Worked for exactly 1 day
I ordered this to use with a DIY birdbath I made but the bird bath was too small. I upgraded to a full sized bird bath and it worked great... for exactly 1 day, then it just stopped. While I was waiting for the bird bath to arrive, I could hear it working when it was sitting out on my potting bench on the covered patio so it was bizarre that it stopped when I actually set it up in full sun. It is in full sun in my garden at all times, there are no trees for shade and it's far from the house so there are no shadows either. Conceptually it's great - easy to assemble and lots of nozzle choices included. But no good if it doesn't work.

Cute little solar powered water fountain.
I bought this cute solar powered little water fountain to go in my new birdbath. It’s solar powered and works well. Shoots the water fairly high. Great price. Not sure if the birds will use the birdbath with the fountain, but we’ll see.

Perfect little fountain!
Perfect little solar fountain for my dogs outdoor water bowl, she loves drinking from the spray. Worked right out of the box. As long as its in the sun, the little fountain works great. I appreciate that the box comes with multiple spray tops for variety. The spray pressure is almost too strong when it is in constant sun. It was very easy to set up with little spokes to keep it balanced (not necessary for it to work). A great little solar powered water pump for bird baths or your dogs water bowl.

A+ Bought mine in July 2022!!
I live in the Coachella Valley. Summers here are brutal with temps from 110+ on average. The picture window where the fountain sits in front of gets the full brunt of the sun for most of the day here. But this little fountain has survived one hellish summer so far and then some! (If my fountain could talk! 🤔😆) It is still running much to the delight of my kitty who loves to study it while she's waiting for a lizard, bunny or a bird to pop by. I placed my fountain outside in a somewhat shallow plastic recepticle that I got at the 99¢ store. Nothing fancy. So here are some longevity tips that work for me and will probably work for you. Keep plenty of pure water in your recepticle. Be sure to keep an eye on it during the day to make sure the water stays at an optimum level. Water levels go down because of evaporation and water being splashed either by the action of the fountain or wildlife playing in it. I just keep a hose or water container close by to quickly refill it. Clean the motor periodically depending on use. Keep your recepticle clean. Can't stress that enough. That means scrub it clean bcuz of slime/dirt buildup. If you've placed the fountain in a birdbath, you also need to scrub out the dirt and slime impurities often. Don't neglect this important step because it totally helps with the overall function of your solar fountain. Also clean your device. I can't stress that enough either. I take a power nozzle and spray the entire underside of it and gently swipe off any slime or dirt with your fingers to get around and under the tubes and motor housing on the underside.. And Yes!! You can power nozzle the motor. It blows out dirt and slime!! I do it all the time. I also do a periodic vinegar cleanse to it. Fill your recepticle with water. Stir in approx 1/4 cup per gallon of water. Use basic plain vinegar (acv, white. Do NOT use any other kind of vinegar) put your cleaned fountain in the water and let it run in the sunshine for 2 days. Maybe longer if you get less full sunshine. After 2+ days, dump the vinegar water, rinse device and power wash the underside again as little round gel like formations may have grown underneath, then add clean water again, add the device and set it in the sun again. It will be like new. The vinegar clears out scum and calcium buildup inside the device which causes a flow reduction or just stops working altogether. I do this once/mo usually or when I see my fountain struggling to work. There are no switches or controls. The solar motor is all it needs. And with some love and attention it will live a long time. I love my fountain. But I bought it for my indoor kitty and I think think she loves it more than me 😂

Works fine, but...
It works pretty well overall. The spray on ANY of the heads that they provide is too high for the majority of birdbath fountains. The spray is high enough that any slight breeze will cause the spray to go outside of the birdbath, which empties it pretty quickly. I had to drill out the holes on one of the heads to a larger diameter, this brought the spray down to an acceptable level. The other problem is that the screen on the pump gets clogged pretty quickly. I have a bird feeder designed only to feed small songbirds - but the crows figured out how to get feed out of it pretty quickly. The crows then bring the feed over to the fountain and dip their food in the water. All the other birds followed suit. So, the birdbath pump gets clogged up with seed shells within a day.

Full sun only!
Works for what you get! Definitely need to be in full sun (see picture with shade from hand slowing it down) but works great once in it. I love the choices of nozzles too to work for what we need. Absolutely would recommend. Can’t comment on durability as I just got it but so far so good! There’s straws that come off the sides to stabilize it in the middle which is perfect too. Birds are loving it for sure!
