Provides exactly what I needed: SHADE I can create by myself
I have a small back yard patio with a small pergola against the house, and during the summer when my patio garden is finally starting to look nice, I enjoy sitting out there admiring how hearty the plants are and how effective a generous plant food schedule is in making the flowers bloom and the greenery get bushy and fill in. My problem, however, is that I had more than one vampire in the family tree, because any time I am in the sun for more than ten minutes, I start to turn red like a lobster at a seafood boil, so finding a shade that will allow me to enjoy the patio without bursting into flames has an essential, especially one that I may put up and take down with ease as I don't have anyone to help me with this chore. This rectangular sail shade fits just perfectly over the exposed area of my patio where the narrow pergola doesn't reach. After having the hooks mounted into the appropriate place, I am able to use my extending hanger rod to easily get the D hooks on the shade into the proper position and stretch it out so that it fits perfectly, provides shade without making it pitch dark underneath, and my plants that prefer a bit less direct sunlight benefit from it as well. Since I received it and got the hooks in place, I've been out enjoying my patio each afternoon and evening, taking it down in just a few minutes when we had an electrical storm move through so that the planters could benefit from the rainfall that came. I just keep track of which D ring needs to be mounted first ( I use the one where the product tag is sewn into that corner for a visual reference to get the long side up ) then get the others in place in a jiffy. I love the color because it works well with the red brick and white trim on my home, it provides shade but also allows enough light through without being too bright, and it's just so easy to put up and down I still can't get over it. I'm completely delighted with my purchase and I have no hesitation recommending.

Great sun protection, just watch the weather!
Bought this for my driveway to protect my car from the sun. It worked well and even kept the car several degrees cooler. Unfortunately, I left it up over winter, and heavy snow tore it apart. Iโll definitely repurchase when itโs on sale again.

Quality and Price Hit the Mark - Do your homework
Okay , where to begin. First and foremost READ THE DIRECTIONS AND ALL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION. I read many reviews before buying this and if most people would have just taken the time to read they could've saved themselves a ton of heartache and time!! Ordered the 16'x20' May of 2021 and used it for one summer so far. The shade coverage was enough for a rectangle table and 6 chairs, 5 piece rattan outdoor furniture set, a cooler table, an extra- large deck box and still had PLENTY of space to walk freely between them!!! We took it down in October 2021 for the season and saw that there was a tear along one of the seams. We contacted Amazon and they replaced the product immediately. We did purchase the 5 year extended warranty for this item and I HIGHLY suggest you do the same because it just makes sense! Pay the extra $13 and know that for at least 5 years you will have a product that you can enjoy for several seasons. We did not have to make a claim for the replacement because it was still covered under the manufacturers warranty. Things to KNOW and SUGGESTIONS: - the item was exact color and size that was pictured (note: the dimensions are from D ring to D ring, it is not perfectly square and it's not designed to be. The sides arc in some and this allows you to get the shade taut). - It is great relief from the sun but it is in no way water-resistant, a light mist will soak anything underneath it. - If there is heavy rain it will pool in the center and sag, so make sure to put it at a slight angle downward on one side to allow the water to run off. - Use at a minimum 4x4 10 foot posts (bigger diameter would be better) for larger sun shades to support the tension and decrease the chances of the post bowing. We attached the sail to the eaves and then 2 posts on the opposite side. We buried and cemented and the posts 1/3 in the ground. - Get quality turnbuckles, carabiners, and thick wire, etc. to attach the shade. Do not use the flimsy rope that comes with it if you expect the shade sail to be taut and not droop. You may have to tighten throughout the season depending on the wind/weather it sustains and how much it naturally stretches. - When tightening the sail be sure to tighten corners that are diagonal from one another so it will tighten evenly. If you start in one corner and move in a square you will hate everything about this item because it will ALWAYS be uneven and droopy. - I suggest using rivets to reinforce the seams (or a big needle and string). - WATCH VIDEOS on the different ways to set up the shade sail to make assembly as simple as possible, you will be grateful you did. Overall the item was what I expected and as long as you take care of it and do your research assembly will be pretty simple. I would but this again!

Works well
Works great. We were really struggling to find some method of shading our 1970s solarium from the late afternoon sun and while we are using this in a someone unorthodox manner (draped instead of suspended in the air) it works perfectly for our purpose. And it looks nice!

Great Buy!
This was perfect for my custom back patio setup. My first one held up great for about a year, but I made a mistake of leaving it up one day where we had heavy snow and it stretched it. And a few months later it finally ripped after some heavy winds. Purchased another one recently and won't make the same mistake twice! Perfectly blocks the sun on hot days!

You get what you pay for
When I opened the box, this one wasn't in a bag like another one I bought. But when I unfolded it, I noticed how crappy the stitching was. Threads hanging, unfinished, crooked seams, cheap. Anyway, who cares, it's going to hang outside in sun, wind and rain, and if we like how they work, we'll purchase better quality ones in a year or two after these disintegrate. So, even after you measure an area because you have lots of places to secure this, don't get excited that it'll go up well. I have lots of pine trees, and that means lots of triangular areas. I have two buildings, house and guest house, plus a fence. Seemed like a no brainer. (Laughing hysterically for a moment.) We attempted to mount this to the outer wall of guest house, then to a couple trees. We don't have any triangle that matches up to the shape, even though we have lots of triangular area. So now this shade is back in the box until we can try to use it on the house and patio. Knowing what we know, we'll mount it to the house and then wherever the 3rd point comes to, we have to sink a 4x4 in the ground to finish mounting. All I'm saying is don't sink a bunch of poles or 4x4's before you're 100% sure this will work. The 16x16x16 is mounted but a tad saggy on one side due to crappy angles. We did get it mounted to the trees, and the water just happens to drain off exactly where we want it to. If it gets us through a couple more summers, great. By the way, we're in Flagstaff AZ, so although the temperatures aren't like southern AZ, (we're at 7000 ft), our UV rays are always EXTREME for about 5-6 months. We'll see how this holds up.

Excelente Malla Sombra
Me gusto mucho la malla, las esquinas vienen reforzadas, lo unico que no utilice fue la cuerda que se incluye pero es de nylon y no tiene buen agarre desde mi puntlnde vista. Solo compre las armellas y una piola.

First installation was a breeze, but the real tests came with time
I chose the AsterOutdoor shade sail for my terrace, looking for protection against the sun and UV rays. My expectations ? Durability, efficiency and aesthetics. The design is elegant, fitting in perfectly with my outdoor space. The first installation was a breeze, but the real tests came with time. The fabric held up to the elements, but I noticed some slight fading over the months. A strong point: its ability to effectively block UV, protecting my family and me from harmful rays. The overall quality is satisfactory. The fabric is sturdy, despite the fading. In terms of performance, it excels in UV protection and resists gusts of wind well, a major advantage. Benefits : - Weather resistant. - Good UV protection. - Easy to install. Disadvantages: - Flows over time. - Requires regular cleaning to maintain its appearance. Compared to other shade sails on the market, the AsterOutdoor stands out for its robustness and ease of installation. Some may offer better fade resistance, but at a higher cost. Clean it regularly to maintain its appearance. In winter, consider dismantling it to extend its lifespan.
