My orchids love these lights. I grow mainly phalaenopsis and oncidium hybrids and use these lights for display in our living areas when the plants are flowering. These lights are easy to assemble, sturdy, and have a very simple look that does not distract or detract from the flowers or the home decor. Even my wife agrees these are unobjectionable and really accentuate the plants well. The balanced daylight spectrum (including red spectrum LEDs) really make the flower colors pop, while the pole stand is simple, inobtrusive, and solid. The way these can be adjusted in height by adding or taking off simple aluminum tubes does mean a little extra work when you need to change the height, but the screwed-in connections are totally solid and present no extra fittings to distract from either the plant or the room decorations. These are the most adjustable floor lights I have found in terms of height -- some of my larger plants put out really tall inflorescence (flower spikes); these are the only lights I've found that can be adjusted high enough to position the light above flowers while the plant is sitting on tables or display stands. For many orchids, this is important because the flowers need direct light as much as does the plant itself. (Without direct light on the flower itself, most orchid flowers will wither and drop.) Finally: My plants are all responding really well to these lights: The flowers turn toward the light and stay on the plants longer than expected. Most orchids under these lights have also put out new inflorescence and leaves while they were being displayed throughout the house; I didn't expect the plants to actually thrive while they were being displayed, since the indoor environment is otherwise not at all ideal for orchids -- that is all down to these lights. I have now bought several of these and been using them for several months -- they all work the same; I've noticed no quality differences between units and no reduction in function over time. Recommended.

I'm still not leaving the house with it on, but so far I've left it on most of the day on the weekends with no bad results. My plants were not doing well at all when I had to bring them inside due to the cold, but this light has really made them look alive again. My Christmas Cactus had blooms all over it for the 1st time ever! Nice!! I didn't rate the timer function because I haven't even checked to see if it has one. Maybe I'll check now, though.

This light is approximately 5 feet tall when fully extended. The timer is working as expected. The product is very light-weight and we chose to attach it to a sturdy base rather than use the enclosed bag, which would have necessitated purchasing sand or rocks. We like that this light is compact when disassembled and will be easy to store when no longer needed.

We have to bring a few of our plants in the garage over Winter because of our location, this year we decided to get one of these lights and see if it made a difference....it really did. Usually by this time of year they would have lost their leaves being in our garage, but this year (it's Jan) they have not only not lost their leaves but the Hibiscus is actually blooming. We should have gotten this years ago. Now when we put them out in Spring we don't have to wait for them to get leaves again, already have a jump start so to say. We recommend this light.

Ok so I absolutely love this sun-lamp it is great, bright white light to which I think is great. However, if there was 1 complaint to be had it is this: there is no on or off switch on the power cord. ugh! that makes me have to plug it in every time that I want to use it. Like I said Ugh! But, other than that 1 thing I love it. It is very easy to put together, you cant mess up with that..... it is just the right height and the lamp head is very adjustable... so there is that!

The light appears well built , i like that it comes with its own sandbag ( I'm using one I already have ) , the lights are protected by clear plastic , the timer function is nice ( i wish it went up to 16 hours , it maxes at 12 ), and it produces very little heat. The problem is that the power and size of the light are nowhere near what the photos or description would lead you to believe. I have the non timer 250watt equivalent also and it puts out far more light and stands over 6 feet tall, much better product imo.

THIS FLOOR LAMP IS AMAZING!!!! Ive been trying to grow a cherry tree and i live up in Montana where we don’t get much sunshine in the winter and OH MY GOD it made my plant grow probably an inch, unfortunately a kid and cat got into the pot so i stored my light away till i have more room for what i want but it doesn’t over heat the plant, its has a switch which is super cool! I didn’t use it mostly because i had it plugged into a smart home plugin, but i really love this, assembly was extremely easy, idk if its sturdiness is 5 stars but it would be 4.5 it is a little thinner than i thought it would look but in a way its a pleasant thin, like you have more room than you would probably expect, I’m excited to use it again and i MIGHT just purchase another ;)

This a good light my only problem is the stand, would be great if the owner who contacted me send me the sandbag that should be included in the details of this light. They only sent me the light and no sand bag. The light tip over twice already. I msg the seller to send me a sand bag but I don’t get any reply from the seller.
