Great entry-level wheel for the serious gamer
Update 4/9/19 After 2 years of occasional use my gas pedal spring gave out. After doing a quick google search I found this is a common problem. I contacted Thrustmaster and they had a replacement spring available but had to pay more for shipping than the spring itself. Not a big deal but be aware. See below for original review. This wheel isn’t perfect but offers great value for the serious gamer. It might be slightly smaller, and offer fewer buttons than more expensive wheels but it’s significantly cheaper. I’ve owned this model for over a year now and I’ve had no problems with the mechanics. It continues to work as expected. The feedback this wheel offers is great. If you are serious about racing games this is a good entry level wheel. Thrustmaster offers cheaper models like the T80 but they don’t have the same force feedback. The wheel doesn’t come without flaws. The rubber grips on the side feel good but I don’t understand why it doesn’t go all the way around the wheel. Most of the time my hands are on the rubber section of the wheel but still, they cheaped out. Also, it could have more customizable buttons for things like traction control but I guess that’s how they get you to spend money on more expensive models. There are work arounds such as using the d-pad. I believe there are several other wheel options that mount to the main motor unit. So if I want, I can replace my wheel with a better one without buying a whole new setup.

Shockingly good for the price
This is my first wheel, and I was shocked at how good it is. I reluctantly settled for this after considering the t300, but didn't want to pay that much. The force feedback on this was the biggest surprise, and it is waaaayy better then most people will say. There is a little granularity to it when making tiny adjustments, but I honestly stopped noticing it after a couple days. The ffb is weaker then basically any others, but if you play Assetto Corsa it can still just about rip your arms off when you crash. I personally don't need strong ffb, I just want detail so I can feel what the car is doing, and that is where this wheel is really good. It is belt fed rather than direct drive, so still won't give the best detail that is out there, but I still think this is worth at least $300 in terms of quality, and the price is half of that! Biggest downside is that you cannot swap the wheel out. However, the wheel itself is great, very comfortable rubber, paddle shifters are solid metal. The only real issue is not having enough buttons, but there are enough for any casual player. The pedals it comes with are cheap in quality, but still function well, and you can upgrade pedals separately later if you want (I went to the t-lcm loadcell pedals). If you aren't sure you want to put a ton of money into simracing, but want to get a taste to see if you will like it, this is a great start!

Great Wheel, Great Price!
This is a great wheel for the price bracket that it falls in. I didn't feel like shelling out the cash for a more expensive wheel (especially when most of them don't come packaged with an h-shifter anymore), so I decided to buy this wheel after having a few too many drinks. I am proud to say that this was one of my good drunk decisions. I didn't think that a wheel would make "that" much of a difference, but it really does. It's difficult for me to imagine going back to using a controller after using this, as the use of a physical wheel has proven to be an incredibly immersive experience. The feeling of bottoming out a car, the feeling of losing traction in a turn, and the feeling of different road compositions are all communicated effectively through the wheel, so the limits of each car are easier to identify. It is pretty awesome, to say the least. That said, there are some things that must be said for the sake of honesty: the steering wheel has a lot of "meh" hard plastic, the steering wheel is small, the plastic pedals feel cheap, and there's no clutch/h-shifter (only paddles). If you need to have a clutch/h-shifter, do not buy this wheel - you will end up spending a whole lot of dough to get this to where you want it to be. In short, this is a great budget-friendly option for anyone who is interested in a more realistic racing experience than a standard controller can offer. If you happen to discover that you have a passion for sim racing after using this wheel, though, your wallet will be begging for mercy. I never used to understand how someone could spend thousands of dollars on sim racing equipment...but now I do. I have seen the light of sim racing, and it is a great thing to behold.

cheap but good FFB wheel
I bought this product used off amazon It cost me $170, it came with no signs of damage or use, it looked basically brand new. There are 2 rubber grips on each side of the wheel which feel pretty nice to hold, but I feel like after long-term use they might wear down. As for me though, the wheel still looks brand new. The wheel will make a loud whining noise the faster you spin it, that's just the nature of a gear-driven wheel. FFB feels like any other gear-driven wheel, not the best, but it's there and it does the job. It helped me get into sim racing and I don't regret the purchase at all. The wheel itsself is amazing for a gear-driven wheel, it has pretty weak FFB (I ran it at 75% strength) but it's definitely enough. I set the steering angle from something like 900 degrees to around 360, which made it way easier to drift and correct over/understeer, and also since I played at night, it kept the noise down because I didn't have to whip the wheel 360 degrees one way. The pedals do their job, brake pedal has some resistance and gas pedal has basically none. They are very light and cheap and will slide around/tip over. This setup works great on a desk, and I used it for over a year on games like BeamNG, Asseto Corsa, FH5, RaceRoom, and My Summer Car. Paddle shifters feel great but are LOUD. I upgraded to a Fanatec CSL DD, and the paddle shifters make basically no noise, they will probably wake someone up before the sound of the wheel's gears turning will. To fix this, I just used the 2 buttons on the top to shift gears and it worked just fine. The wheel looks nice, it's small and works on basically any desk. The clamp is good. Setup is easy. I currently have it kept as a backup, if my csl dd breaks then I will have no issue using the T-150 again. Great wheel, I was considering going for a wheel with no FFB but god am I glad I didnt. I have to give it 5 stars because I got what I paid for, $170 and cheap pedals but good FFB that works as expected. I do recommend using this with a wheel stand, possibly the GT Omega Classic, it's made for low-power wheels and you won't have to worry about your chair or the pedals, and you can get a good driving position. You can also go for the GT Omega Apex if you plan on upgrading to a stronger DD wheel in the future, then the apex will hold up just fine to both the T-150 and entry-level DD wheels (think moza r9, fanatec csl dd). The only thing I wish was different about the wheel is the loud paddle shifters. That's it. Everything else about this wheel is great. for the price you're paying (assuming you got it for $170, like me, I personally would NOT pay $220+ when you can get it as cheap as I did in brand new condition.)

So basically it's going to be a lot like driving a car with numb electric steering
This product seems to suffer from unrealistic expectations more than it does actually functionality. TO BE CLEAR this is an entrance model racing wheel, it's small and has the classic bungey cord steering system versus the forced feedback of higher end systems. It is a classic style gaming wheel, not a simulation style wheel. So basically it's going to be a lot like driving a CVT car with numb electric steering, imagine a Nissan Versa, that's about your simulation experience. BUT if you're currently playing around with a controller and want to at least get the experience you might from a 90s arcade style game like Cruisin' USA or something like that this will more than fit the bill at a reasonable price point. It's not going to blow you away, it's not going to give you some kind of out of body realism, but it will make your games more fun and more approachable if you have a significant other or children who maybe not be as experienced with racing games. Get a TV dinner table, throw this puppy on top, the pedals underneath and slink into a computer chair and you can have a pretty enjoyable time and you will see a clear improvement over your old times and I'm willing to bet, a bit more fun.

Wheel : Good!
First force feedback wheel in about a decade. I'm using it on a PC for Dirt Rally, ETS/ATS and Asetto Corsa at the moment. A wheel utterly changes driving games. It's just really, really fun. Definitely worth the money. Build quality is generally solid. It's mostly plastic, but it's heavy and well put together. Steering feel is good, with just a tiny bit of gear feel from the wheel's mechanism. The force feed back is strong. I've currently got it turned down to 55% and it shakes things up quite enough for me at that level. The PC drivers are a bit weird, at least w/Windows 10. Occasionally, the wheel isn't properly detected at startup, especially if you unplug it between sessions (there's no power switch. I wish it had one, and I'll probably wire one in later.). If this happens, you just go to the firmware updater that comes with the drivers and tell it to update. After running the updater, whether it updates or not, the wheel is properly detected and you can get back to driving. With this wheel, people complain about two things: the mechanism that clamps it to your desk, and the pedals. Yup, the clamp mechanism is not very solid and the pedals tend to slide around. I tossed the plastic clamp, drilled a small hole in my desk, and bolted the wheel down using the supplied bolt, then got a couple of brackets at home depot, and attached a removable crossbar under the desk to hold the pedals in place. Now nothing moves when I'm playing, and I can unclamp everything in a minute or two when I need to. The pedals are sturdy plastic. They look and feel durable. It's a two pedal setuup, and they're spaced a little closer together than I'd like, but I got used to it really quickly. If you don't like the feel of the brake pedal (I actually don't mind it) just go online - there are several simple mods out there than can add stiffness or a more progressive feel. If you haven't had a good wheel before, these things seem expensive. By the standard of simulation controllers though, this is an extremely affordable wheel. And the driving experience is just so much better. If you enjoy driving games, it's totally worthwhile. Ordinarily, I'd knock off a star for flaky driver behavior and the not-very-sturdy plastic clamp. But this is just such a cool, funl device, and it really is very inexpensive for a good FFB wheel.

A great wheel for 200 bucks.
I had another Thrustmaster wheel before this wheel, called the Ferrari Red Legend. It's a pretty decent wheel for the price of 60 bucks. But after a while, I grew a bit tired of it because of its lack of features (no force feedback, let alone any rumble effects, very limited degree of rotation, etc.). I never really expected much from it for being so cheap. Until I heard about T150 wheel. This wheel had me sold for how much it cost. $200 for a dedicated force feedback, can rotate up to 1080 degrees, and it can use any other pedal set (T3PA/PRO) and shifter (TH8A/RS) This basically had me sold on this wheel when I heard of all of these features for just 200 bucks (not including the high quality pedals and H- Pattern Shifter set). And also, from the fact that it was compatible with the PC is a big plus in my books. So how do I think about this wheel? I think it's fantastic for how much it costs. The force feedback is really amazing, the feel from the bumps on roads are just amazing and playing it on Dirt Rally makes the wheel a WHOLE lot immersive than a controller. I also played it on Assetto Corsa, Project Cars, Forza Horizon 3, Race Driver: GRID etc. Some of the games, mostly older games, doesn't support it obvious so I had to set it up to get it to work for me. But it wasn't an issue at all. The wheel felt great on all games, really responsive and can deal some heavy usage pretty well due to its clamp being so sturdy. And since I don't drift, I can't say how good it is as in terms of how well the wheel can rotate to counter steer, but on a occasion it felt easy to counter steer whenever the vehicle gets loose. The look of the wheel is really nice, the base looks smaller than the Red Legend wheel and the wheel itself is really nice. I actually like the small wheel, but that's entirely subjective, some may like it, some won't. I also really do like the metal paddle shifters, overall it feels really nice when I shift gears with them, but I do have to give it a con for the inconsistency of the quality build with most of the wheel being plastic. Would rather see some other nice touches maybe like leather, or any other type, but maybe the cost would vary from that. The wheel design also looks really nice and makes it look like a real race car, which is a pro to me. Another con for me is the pedals, it's the exact same from the cheaper wheels, which is kind of sad, but I guess its due to pricing. But still I would like to see the pedals not reused for a more expensive wheel, let alone for something $200. After a while (a year from when I bought this wheel) of using the T150, there seem to be some issues emerging. For one the wheel makes a weird loud noise whenever I turn the wheel. Either I turn the wheel rapidly or subtly the noise emerges which kind of to me annoys me a bit. Another I would say is the left shifter is getting numb to where its difficult to downshift without putting force to the pedal. It's a weird issue since its only one part of the shifter that's going bad than both since I use both shifters pretty frequently. The pedals I originally had with this wheel also went bad where the accelerator went loose and had to get that replaced before the warranty went out. Obvious quality issues that I am disappointed with, expecting more of a high quality build for 200 dollars. Overall I really did enjoy this wheel, I put a lot of hours into it and a lot more hours into games that recommends using a wheel (ex. Assetto Corsa, Project Cars and Dirt Rally). With its eco build of adding the T3PA/Pro pedals and the TH8A shifter, really adds the value of the wheel. After a while of its usage, it did show that its quality wasn't up to par for its asking price because of those issues I listed above, but it didn't make the wheel unusable as I still use it today. If you're on a set budget on wheels then I would recommend this wheel. PS: I had written this review prior of me finishing it as of early 2017. I believe I had it since early last year.

Great wheel. If you don't want to spend $300+, but do want a decent force feedback wheel, this is probably it.
So far this has been a great wheel. I've been using it for Grid: Autosport, and it really adds to the realism of the game. I was originally looking at the $400+ wheels (which were fluctuating between $300 and $350 during the holidays) but decided I wasn't ready to spend that much just to try out a wheel, and I watched several reviews on sites that focused on race gaming and peripherals for car games, which pretty much said this was the best wheel in the sub $300 range at the moment. As they pointed out, the wheel feels a bit cheap in that it's light-weight plastic except for the blue areas which are coated in an almost sticky feeling rubber, which is nice, but doesn't really feel like a genuine car wheel. Some of the buttons appear to be slightly crooked though they work fine (workmanship of the wheel is obviously not its strong point, though it seems sturdy enough and has been holding up fine to quite a bit of punishment) and the feel of the wheel when turning has a bit of ratcheting/clunking to it, which is apparently to be expected with wheels using gears rather than the more elaborate setups (to be fair, the other more expensive wheel I was thinking about uses dual helical gears and was said to be similar in feel if not slightly worse as this one uses a gear and pulley hybrid drive system) of the more expensive wheels. The shifter paddles are solid, the wheel response is very good, buttons work reliably and the floor pedals feel pretty good in regard to resistance, though they also feel somewhat cheap in material makeup and if you don't fasten the base to something, using the pedals, especially the brake, will move it around or flip it over often. You either have to hold it down with your left food, or fasten it to something heavy so it doesn't move. The only other thing I can think of to mention is the software. It does what it needs to do and no more. I downloaded the latest driver and configuration software from Thrustmaster's website and it looks pretty utilitarian but has all the configuration (outside of in-game config) that you need. Don't let the lackluster look of the software bother you, most likely you'll never see it but once every time you move the wheel to another computer. I have not used this on a Playstation but I assume the experience is generally the same.

Awesome Driving Experience
It is absolutely amazing. Its my first time using a racing wheel for gaming, had been wanting to do it for sometime, finally after an ordeal trying to get a thrustmaster t80 which I had to cancel, I ordered this wheel. I had searched plenty of reviews and for the price, wheel is quite good. Force feedback on this thing is pretty amazing. I played Gran Turismo 6, NFS Rivals & NFS Most Wanted 2013 & DiRT Showdown so far with this, and it feels amazing playing with this racing wheel Downside is the pedals, they look & feel cheap built, and tend to slip on floor, so you have to put something behind them. On the bright side, they come with holes for putting screws in case you decide to buy or build your own cockpit someday. Coming to the wheel, it feels sturdy in hands, clamp is good and it helps to keep wheel fixed while doing various maneuvers. Overall, really happy with my purchase, would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves racing games.

Very good product
Shipping Time ☐Fast [no premium] ☑ Very Good ☐ Not bad ☐ Took Years.. Product is "Used" but looked new when I got it so I'm happy with that but be careful, these pedals are not the best, they're pretty bad so upgrading to the T3PA or just buying the T150 Pro is the best nothing else to say..

Decent wheel for a beginner.
I bought the T150 in December 2017. I use it mainly for GT Sport on the PS4 and it works great. The force feedback is good enough. However in February the Throttle spring broke. I contacted the local support partner but they denied my request for a spring replacement. I googled the global support line and contacted their customer service based in France. They asked me to upload a copy of the invoice. Once I did that they immediately dispatched a set of replacement springs for free no questions asked. I received it within a week and fixed the pedals. It's been working fine since then. Kudos to Thrustmaster Global, indian support is shit. If the T150 Pro is available that's a better buy simply because the pedal set is superior or the Logitech G29. The T300 is even better. Either way for a beginner the T150 is great.

Great wheel for the price
I bought this wheel from the Amazon Refurbished warehouse which came out to half the price of a new wheel. Despite the ripped condition of the box, which was stated in the description, the wheel and pedals arrived in excellent condition. The force feedback is strong but ratchety as expected in this class of gear-based feedback. However, that has not detracted from the joy of using this wheel. The pedals are basic, and I have no problems with that. They slid around quite a bit, but a steering wheel stand fixed that issue. Keep in mind the wheel has a clamp and the pedals have holes if you wish to bolt to a mount. I don't mind as both the wheel and pedals attach very firmly to the mount (GT Omega)
