This humidifier/diffuser works beautifully. I've owned two diffusers before it, one small, and one slightly larger, and they required essential oil drops on the water surface. A little reading of the easy directions will make it clear that isn't useful with this diffuser, plus, with a big model, it will take more oil for obvious reasons. I enjoy the easily programmed options for level of moisture, and whether or not to use the changing colored lights. The only tricky part for me was figuring out how to position the lid on the tank. There is a tab at the back edge of the tank, and a somewhat hard-to-find notch on the underside of the lid to set the vent in the correct direction. If it isn't seated well, the mist will come out all around the lid. If refilling the tank while the unit is near-empty, have a small cloth, like a washcloth handy, because the underside of the lid will be wet and drippy. It does look a bit clinical being all-white, but that is offset by its functionality.

The first time I used it was great! It scented my entire house! Second time it leaked, so I removed the water in the base and cleaned it with soap and vinegar! Third time I noticed black residue in the base, so I cleaned it again! Fourth time I noticed the essential oil I used in the base was melting the parts and causing the black residue! Fifth time it kept shutting itself off so I trashed it and ordered one from Bed Bath and Beyond! I’ve only had it a week!

This is the best diffuser I've had and I've been through quite a few! The scent is powerful and long lasting. I loved it. Then it broke. You would think i would come here with a complaint or less stars right? Nope. I sent an email and Grace responded immediately! Since the 3000ml was no longer in stock she issued me a full refund right away... which I'm using to buy the 4000ml. I'm confident that if I have any problems with it, they will take care of it. Great way to diffuse essential oils with three mist level controls and the ability to operate without the lights. The large volume is terrific, making it a favorite of mine because I don’t have to constantly be refilling the water. I run mine 24 hours a day so the larger capacity was definitely a must have feature. Highly recommend!

I was very surprised at how nice and quiet it looks . Just make sure it’s not broken before use, I found mine was broken after I saw the puddle of water underneath it . I examined it and it was leaking from bottom of unit, but I was really happy for the first 30 minutes with it .

After 4 monts diffuser has stopped working.. doesn't even turn on...waste of money.. i want a refund

Received my defuser and read my instructions carefully. I had no trouble with assembly since my larger size one came completed. At this moment I’m kicked back and really enjoying my light fresh scent. Definitely will be purchasing another one as a gift!😊

Well, I loved this diffuser when I got it. Followed all directions for use AND CLEANING!!! Have kept this well maintained. Here is what happens...... the heating element thing in the bottom melts !!!!! I don't care how clean you keep this. Wow what a horrible flaw design !!!!!!!!!!!!!! And i contacted Amazon about a refund.....oh once you past a month of purchase well you DON'T GET A REFUND> Not even a 1 year warranty . WHAT A DISGRACE. They probably won't even post this review !!!! . I paid $43.99 for 3 months use of a diffuser. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BLUE HILLS DIFUSSER whatsoever!!!
