Absolutely the most lovely yarn! Add the perfect amount on halo and softness to my brioche project. I am holding it together with a cashmere Marino blend. The color is a muted pink which is exactly what I needed to balance out the vibrant pink of the base yarn. So far no knots or inconsistencies.

This alpaca silk is very soft and the color is beautiful. Bought this for my daughter who taught herself to knit. She is planning on making a sweater.

Don’t get me wrong. This is an absolutely beautiful quality of yarn! So soft, and I can’t wait to use it. But I took one star off as the color, color 31 hot pink, was not quite as vibrant as depicted. I would not call it hot pink. It is more of a muted rose. But it is hard to make photographs actually match the colors, as we all know. Even the picture I took myself outside on a cloudy day is more vibrant than it actually appears.

This worked great for me because it is almost the same color as my tile floors. I placed it in front of the cooking surface nest to an island where the grout in that area gets pretty dirty. With this rug down the grout is protected and when company comes over, I can take it up. Keep in mind this is not a comfort mat, so it is not meant to provide comfort in the way those types of mats will, but if you are standing on it barefoot it is still comfortable. It is good looking and it gets the job done. It also washes in the washing machine very well and comes out with no creasing, wrinkling, or buckling. To dry I just set it flat outside.
