It works
I was wondering how well a Refrigerator with a 12-volt Compressor would work. It is a little noisy. The center of the freezer stays at 10 degrees. The back wall of the refrigerator will freeze anything touching it, but the center of the compartment stays at about 40 degrees. Still not used to the fact that there is so much room in it. Over all we are happy with it.

DEAD REFRIGERATOR LESS THAN 12 MONTHS!
Called tech support have been on hold for over an hour and 43 minutes while writing this review. Frigerator died after 11 months. Battery indicates charged at 12.51v. Frig compressor attempts to start and stops. freezer section is able to reach 32f when ambient Rv temp is 82f. Refrigerator section unable to keep food in a safe range. I am still on hold . Would not Recommend purchasing .

Gets cold
Received the wrong color but the company made it right. It is louder than I'd like but well worth it to have cold food. Be prepared to run a direct line from your batteries and yes you need two. I has a safety feature that requires 12volts or it turns off. When the compressor kicks on it pulls a lot and will turn itself off. I think it needs a capacitor or something. Even so, I really enjoy the cold compared to the gas electric fridge it replaced.

Worst Fridge ever!!
This fridge came with our New Artic Wolf camper we bought 8 months ago. Only works 1/4 of the time, Was told we didnt have 50 amp service to run it...fixed that, Was told we didnt have camper level enough....leveled each time perfectly level,...turns out this is just JUNK! working on getting a new one from warrently company but I would not buy this if I had a choice this is the last fridge in the world I would own.. Has caused 8 months of frustration and stress.....

Very easy on the battery bank.
We bought this refrigerator for our off-grid cabin with expectation that it would use less juice than a conventional refrigerator. I have not hooked up any monitoring equipment to it yet but after 24 hours of use it uses only a little bit more than the 3.1 cu ft that we replaced according this morning's battery level. Went running it only draws about 8.5 amps @ 12VDC and since the cabin DC system is 24V a small 30 amp 24V to 12V converter handles it nicely. After letting the unit sit for 24 hours (had to transport it on it's back) we powered it up yesterday and it cooled down nicely after a few hours. After "living" with it for 24 hours it seems like a nice 'fridge and so far the only thing I can say negatively about it is Furrion's opinion of what is quiet is a bit different than mine! When it is running the high velocity/capacity fan noise is quite apparent but after a while we got used to it.
