Probably won't work for current Windows 10 OS

just got this aftermarket receiver because my son "borrowed" mine to use for his computer and a 360 Wireless Guitar Hero controller for playing Clone Hero. First off, the receiver is not recognized when plugged in, as a genuine microsoft device would be. As others have suggested, in device manager I right clicked on the unrecognized device and navigated to select the x-box 360 wireless controller for pc drivers. it still won't work. when I press the button on both the receiver and the connect "x" button on the controller, both blink a while, the receiver light goes solid, and the controller keeps displaying spinning lights until it eventually gives up. I think I will too. Its going back.

Can someone link the driver

I cannot find the driver online for the life of me, and if this continues to not work I will be reporting it, because it seems everyone else is finding it useless as well.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Does not work at all. Windows does not recognize a 100% real Microsoft product? I do not believe that...I have 2 real receivers that work perfect with all 3 of my computers and all of my XBOX 360 controllers.This junk not install on any computer I own. I am a Microsoft Certified Engineer and I believe this is a fake as the bottom sticker is not even close to the real ones I have..All my computers are Win 10 and up to date...

works well, reliable, easy to setup

using with three Xbox 360 wireless controllers on a Windows 10 laptop and desktop. driver installation took a few steps (not 100% plug & play) but it didn't require any additional downloads, installs, or program setup. works perfect!
