It's all about price-value
This server rack gets the job done. It's solid enough for stick in your basement, pretty enough at a distance not to be an eye sore. Sure, you can easily ding this mother without too much effort, but where are you going to find any better under $500 bucks? Sure, some goobers who expect data center quality at this price point are going to moan, but just ignore those clowns. Here's what you need to know: - it's good enough for home lab on the cheap - the fan is noisy AF, get a BeQuite fan or similar and get over it - the locks are a joke. Again, this is for your basement, if you need locks here you have bigger worries - just enough shelves - power strip is nice inclusion but I'll stick to my UPS which has more sockets - you can assemble it yourself, but don't be a hero, get help. You need three arms, and at least one that is very long. Stop moaning and get your buddy to help All said and done, it no knicker-dropper, but it does the basics nicely. It keeps things tidy and reduces exposure to dust. That's what I got it for, duh.

Needed an upgrade
I had been looking at this for awhile and it finally came today. It was pretty easy to put together but took me awhile to do it. Not sure where I messed up but the door sags a bit on the handle side. I really like the color. As far as locks go, they are cheap and easy to pick. If you’re looking for a secure rack, this ain’t it. I like how they included some shelves, fan, and a PDU. I don’t need the shelves or the PDU. The PDU is cheap and not that great. I have a fan intake that is a 3U that I put in the bottom, I didn’t notice but there seems to be a random screw welded to the bottom. I assume it’s for grounding. I wasn’t able to put it all the way at the bottom. I got the 27U but it’s more like 25 or 26. The top mounted fan is pretty quite so far. The biggest issue I have is the back panel. I don’t mind taking screws off to get back there but it’s only secured by 4 screws. Anytime I move it, it makes a noise that I find super annoying. It has holes for more screws but the rack doesn’t have the holes drilled for them. Also, with the 27U you can either do the casters or the feet. Can’t do both because the casters run into the feet. Not a big deal for me, but was just wanting to be able to roll it where I want and use the feet to level it all out. This is a rack I would definitely get again. It seems pretty good quality where it counts.

Great cabinet, period.
I've dealt with a few flat pack cabinets, and it's not my first rodeo with Sysracks. I'm pretty sure that they have upped their game in packaging; the box mine arrived in has padded corners and reinforced sides. All panels were padded in sheet foam to avoid contact with one another and the glass door was toward the middle of the stack, nice and safe. Everything arrived in one piece, no issues. I'm honestly a little mystified by reviews that complain about lack of instructions. It goes together in 20 minutes by mild application of some logic (cable entry brush plates go in the back) and some mild twisting of a cross tip screw driver. Bonus points if you check your progress with a carpenter's square, but it squares itself. Which part goes where is blindingly obvious from looking at the parts. If something looks like it might accept a bolt and a nut because you can see through it, that's where the bolt and nut go. I'm not a rocket surgeon but worked it out all on my own with zero fuss. Some hints and a few minor niggles not worth deducting a star over. Those little teardrop shaped rubber doodads that are rolling around in the shipping box and hiding in the crannies of the panels... you need those. They're responsible for making the side panels shut up. Once you pull them through their grommets, the side panels don't vibrate. The door... different story. There's a tiny bit of play between the lock bar and the frame member it engages with. The front door rattles. A little wad of electric tape or self stick felt solves it. I'm hanging mine, so I can't speak to whether or not the bolts for the casters are included. That leads me to my second niggle. Wall mounting an 18U cabinet and getting it level is never exactly fun, but it's a lot less un-fun when the manufacturer uses a French cleat type system rather than keyed holes. Sysracks chose to incorporate keyed holes, probably because of the amount of weight the cabinet is rated for. Sysracks would have gained cool points if they'd included a mounting template, but that's 5 minutes with the cardboard it came in, some painter's tape, and a sharpie. Mine's going onto a concrete wall in a narrow space, so unless I tapcon a ledger board on, it won't be a party at all to hang this beast solo, even with doors and panels stripped. Luckily, it does come with feet and casters, along with a generous accessory pack, so it can sit on the floor if I get tired of wrangling with the wall mount. Overall, this is a great cabinet with useful design features and a solid accessory pack. VERY pleased.

Very good value considering the price.
Short list of pros/cons- Pros: -Light weight -Generous supply of hardware came with it -Casters are excellent -Came with shelves, power strip, and casters -Good quality considering the price Cons: -Not Heavy Duty, basically this is for a light office or home environment -Needs some mechanical experience to put together due to its "affordability" -Some parts are cheap plastic and were damaged during shipment Long review: Made of sheet metal of medium thickness, it is sturdier than I had expected. They sent plenty of hardware so I did not worry about running out before completing assembly. One advantage of the light-weight build is that it is much lighter than I expected too. This is perfect for my needs, I can pick it up when it is empty, and I am not a strong person. Although some of the details are plastic the frame and panels are actually good quality. The casters they sent me are really high quality. Overall it was much better than I had expected, especially for the price. Just keep in mind you will need to have some true mechanical experience to assemble it easily. The only real caveat was that the clips on the side panels were really chewed up in shipping. If the manufacturer had thought to put the clips in the box pf hardware they would have been fine... Again, I am really happy with my purchase.

The product is amazing, assembled easily, very high quality but the service is second to none. I had a few questions after purchasing and even months later, they were willing to help me, answered my questions and offer suggestions.

This is the best product I could have bought to achieve my goal of all my equipment in one location, but is mobile. I have a 65" TV on a stand with wheels and now I will have every one of my A/V & audio equipment pieces, available at a moment's notice, because of my SysRack. Thank you for the support and assistance during my purchase.
