These work really well at helping hold the fabric together as I’m sewing the binding on my quilt coats. They are just plastic and kinda flexible and I enjoy the different colors. I do quite a bit of 1/4 inch seems so the tip helps me to stay on track pretty easily

This simple tool has become one of my most used items when sewing. I use it to help feed seam allowances under the presser foot, to open tiny seams when pressing, and most of all, to poke out corners when turning items. I find myself reaching for it frequently! This set is probably more than you need, but you can share with a sewing friend (I gave one to my daughter). It also helps to keep one at your machine and another at the ironing board. I can't believe I've been sewing for so many years without one!

I have had mine forever…well since I first saw them at a friends house….been at least 18 years I think … when I get my sewing gear together to go traveling “that purple thing “ is one of the first things I grab, Purple thing, scissors ,needles , pins or clips, tape measure,, seam ripper,. Oh yeah also thread! you can get the rest of the items just aboutb anywhere but you can’t always find a purple thing.

Having owned one for several years, I knew how handy these were. But one was not enough, these can be used for so many things. When turning my projects right side out, you can use the curved tip to push out corners and make turning curved seams a breeze. These are great for guiding fabric through my machine without getting my fingers in the way. They are strong enough to last a long, long time.

I like them; they’re more handy than you might think. The 1/4” measurement on one end has been so useful in quilting. The other end keeps your fingers from getting in the way of a needle & keeps fabric lined up.
