AISITIN 6.5W Solar Fountain with Battery Backup, Upgraded Solar Pond Pump, Solar Floating Fountain Water Feature with 10 Fountain Styles for Garden, Bird Bath, Pond and Fish Container

Had this a year now. It would stop working every few days or become weak because little bits of algae or dirt would clog up the water inlet. To fix this and turn in to a filter i added: Plant pot that it fits snugly inside. A black one is best. Foam filter available under £10 stuffed inside the pot (leave space between foam and filter water inlet) 2 cable ties on the pot lip above fountain foam to hold in place. You can drill holes on the sides of the pot too but I didnt do that incase fish swam inside. I also added a layer of foam to cover the holes at the bottom for the fish. Now, a few weeks on it's working great non stop, no dirt gets near the water inlet and its filtering the water. It's actually a brilliant little motor works in very little sunlight and intelligently stops trying when there's no water. Very happy.

I purchased this in September 2020 and set it up in a home made half barrell in the garden. Even on the sunniest of days, the solar panel doesn't appear to put enough power into the rechargeable cells on the back, so doesn't work for that long after sunset. However when the sky is blue and bright, it pumps well and continuously. The pump motor then failed in early June 2021. I know this because there was still 8 volts plus coming from the solar panel. I contacted the supplier about this and after they asked me to supply a picture of it not working, within a few days they kindly sent me a complete replacement so I am totally satisfied with their after service care and responses to my communications with them. It's lovely to see it all working again. I don't know if the star rating for suction is related to the suction of the pump or the suction of the 3 little suckers on the bottom of the pump to help it stick to the pond liner so I've assumed it is talking about the amount of water it sucks up and this is ample for a small water feature - actually it's almost too powerful when you add the fountain attachments, so mine is rigged up to a silicone tube and pours back into the pond via a constructed copper pipe, and it looks like a running tap. Image 1 is original set up with water pumping up an out of a plastic tube, then images 2 and 3 are with the copper pipe now fitted. Took me a while to construct the table top. Pond plants still to add!

Reasonable longevity. This has lasted 3.5 years and been left out over winter etc. As with all these features, they need regular maintenance to ensure they work properly. I fitted a tube to this to create a waterfall feature in a small container. This worked well as I wanted a small trickle. It isn't powerful enough for anything more. It doesn't work well in shade but does work well in full daylight, even on cloudy days as it stores up energy and then it's able to function for a short amount of time before it recharges again. This has worked even into the evenings on full sunny days. This has just stopped working but would buy this again.

This Solar Fountain is really nice! The battery backup ensures it works consistently, even when clouds pass by. Very disappointed. Had this for a day and initially was perfect however it has been in full strong sunlight all day and not even making a sound from the pump. Will be looking for a replacement or a return and refund.

When it works, it looks lovely. Sadly, as there is no filter in the pump, it sucks in any debris and then stops working. I have to take it apart every other day just to clean it and get it working again. I tried making my own thin sponge filter, but then the pump is not strong enough to pull the water through. Considering just buying a different, more powerful pump.

I bought this to replace the dual fountain one which the foxes had chewed It worked as soon as it was placed in the pond. Lots of spray fittings. I love the inbuilt battery which keeps it going when overcast. The solar panel stands anywhere in sunshine

I brought this around a month ago for my small, south facing pond. On sunny days - like the recent heatwave - I have a constant fountain running for most of the day and evening which looks fantastic. Today it's cloudy and so the fountain comes on for a spell and then turns off, presumably due to the lack of power? The collection of nozzles is good but they're all fairly similar - the one I would have liked to see is a "bell nozzle" to keep the water lower rather than shooting it upwards. The only minor negatives I've found are that as the pump is small and floats it can move around the pond and potentially toward the edges, and the pump can get easily blocked by gunk as it's small (but easy to clean). These are however minor flaws in an excellently priced pump that's easy to set-up and install.

Dit fonteintje voldoet precies aan mijn verwachtingen. Met de door zonnecellen opgeladen batterij, heb je ook 's avonds bij minder licht nog een hele tijd plezier van het geklater van water.

Aangenaam verrast! Zelfs met weinig zon werkt het goed. Een aangenaam watergeluid in de tuin.

Has good pressure even though very small pump. I use it in my garden fountain. With the reserve battery in the solar panel, it even pumps during cloudy periods. Apparently it senses darkness and shuts off. I don’t know for sure as I’m already in bed sleeping.
