Penn Indoor Pickleball Ball

I recently purchased a set of indoor pickleball ball, and they have quickly become a favorite for our indoor games. These are the balls we use in a gym with a gold floor. They are good balls however we seem to crack them more than outside valks.

The ember color really sticks out and is easy to see indoors.

Love the bright color. Better then other popular orange indoor balls. Teammates complained about how soft the ball are. They did not want to use them. I am hoping a company comes out with another choice in neon brightness for indoors.

Bought these balls for the start of the indoor pickleball season. Most players request these red colored ball, as they provide the best visibility with indoor (gym) fluorescent lighting for most (except for some colorblind) players. Initially didn't like the noticeable seam along these Penn Pickleballs but they excellent bounce and all have lasted many weeks (so far) without any cracking. It's the most requested color and ball in my (3.0-4.5) pickleball group.

I haven't used these balls yet, but I already know a raised seam affects the way a ball plays. I like that they aren't that thick plastic like some balls, so I am hoping they have good bounce and play fast...but if that raised seam affects how they play, I will be returning them, which would be unfortunate because I specifically bought these because of their color. Two stars for value for my money. Put less money in your fancy gloss packaging and more money in the manufacturing of your product. **UPDATE** As much as I love the color, I ended up returning these balls. They started out great and were the balls of choice among my group of approximately 20 players because they played well and were super easy to see indoors. Unfortunately after only 2 and a half hours of play, they were soon disguarded because they became soft and lost their bounce. It was very noticeable with a drop serve. The Onix Recruit Indoor Pickleball Balls that I bought before these are still being used and have excellent game play.

The gym we play in has white walls and a light colored floor. The Penn Indoor ball (red color) is the preferred ball. Buy it.

Used many different brands. The last I had were blue Franklins which were/are great but the wall at our court is the same colour so difficult to see sometimes. These are super nice - solid, bounce and most importantly I haven’t split one yet

Not impressed. I intentionally bought “PENN” brand pickleballs. I understand that “HEAD” brand bought them out but the item pictured/listed/advertised here was the PENN balls. I received my package of 3 but in HEAD brand cardboard packaging and only 1 of the 3 balls was in fact PENN brand (which in my mind is superior in look and feel). HEAD brand balls have a distinct seem and are a harder slicker plastic. PENN brand is seamless and has a softer grippy texture. Since I’d purchased both brands of balls at the same time from different Amazon vendors I didn’t pay much attention to attention when I opened the package and proceeded to label and use said balls. Only discovered the error when the other set of pickleballs arrived a few days and were HEAD brand as well. I was confused then very disappointed. I feel like it was a bait and switch type thing. And can’t return them because I’ve already labelled them with my name.

Product is just ok, very expensive compared to other retailers. Seller had inaccurate product info listed at time of purchase (quantity and price), definitely look elsewhere. Very long shipping time, even with prime. I would not recommend pricing as high, and I’m sure there are better options available as far as retailers go.
