Great Seal for a Great Price
This is exactly what it says it is. Top quality MAHLE 67857 rear main seal for the 5.9 24v common rail. Installed this on my 2003 3500 with the nv5600. Fit perfect, great install. It does not come with the install sleeve as another person has noted. But if you read the description it clearly states it’s a seal and a seal only. If you don’t have an install sleeve sitting in your tool box already and think you will need one, then you better buy one. Or become a better mechanic and learn how to install without the install sleeve. But don’t leave a low reviews do to your lack of reading and knowledge.

Use Installation Tool
Quality is what is expected. Comes with a inside sleeve, do not take it out prior to installation. By hand, seal slides down sleeve onto crankshaft. make sure is goes on straight. Then sleeve is discarded. Make sure all surfaces are clean before installing seal. Seal instructions say apply thin coat of soft soap to outer orange surface. Makes sliding it in easier. USE INSTALLATION TOOL to make sure seal is perpendicular to crankshaft and is at the proper depth. If crooked seal will wear out rapidly.

OEM seal
It’s an OEM seal. Purchase the installer with it so you don’t mess it up. The repair sleeve is not needed if the crank shaft is in perfect condition with no grooves in it.

With the speed sleeve this is the best solution for a rear main leak.
