this is a replacement for the gas filled tubes that was i used for the longest. overall the LED replacement is fair and lights up well. does not generate alot of heat and overall is this saves on energy usage. I am pleased to report that it provides plenty of light and no flicker with voltage swings. Color is 5k white and hold bright even in the daytime hours. Happy with this purchase and I am expecting these will stay with the rental i got them for long after i move on from this place.

We have multiple 4' fluorescent fixtures in closets throughout the house. Disposing of tubes has become more difficult, but I didn't feel like replacing the fixtures, so I decided to give these LEDs a try. The appeal of this particular make and model is that they're advertised as plug-and-play. Sounded a lot easier that opening up the fixtures and cutting wires to bypass the ballasts. Also sounded too good to be true. But, pleasant surprise, they work exactly as advertised. I just popped them into the existing 4' fixtures, flipped on the light switches, and the lights came on. Nice. These tubes are noticeably brighter than the 4' fluorescent tubes they replaced. They also come on instantly. Very nice color -- a soft natural white, not blue or yellow. Bottom line: They work as advertised, produce better light than the fluorescent tubes they replaced, and are easiest solution for fluorescent-to-LED conversion. I did have one problem: One of the four tubes in this multi-pack was broken. Sounded like broken glass running around inside the tube. The tube looked fine on the outside, but something had shattered on the inside. Of course it was the last tube I picked up, and I had already installed the other three and disposed of the old fluorescent tubes, so a return was not an option. Fortunately Amazon stepped up (I love Amazon Customer Service!) and issued a credit for the one broken tube, which was a fair and efficient solution. I've seen other reviews that mention similarly broken tubes, with things rattling around inside. Someone somewhere along the logistics chain should review this situation and figure out how to add some shock proofing. Back to the main thread, if you want to replace your fluorescent tubes without any rewiring, these tubes are a great solution.

I recently had a bulb in my garage go bad, so I replaced both bulbs with this one, which also has higher luminosity (identical watts per specification). Works well enough. It is package well and inside the carton package there are additional packages for each bulb. On my first order, one of the bulbs made a rain stick type of noise and upon closer examination, there was a hardened nylon like material which I thought was the exterior glass, and lots of broken pieces inside. I order a replacements and there was a slightly damaged bulb inside, so I just switched the ones in the two packages to get all working bulbs.

Perfect replacement. Easy change for the previous tube lights I had. Just made sure I got the wattage right. Also, color and brightness were as described.

Bought these new for $47.72 for a 4-pack. Installed 2 of the 4 bulbs - but both were extremely dim and flickering. Reviews say some work, some don’t so we took those out and installed the next 2 and they worked fine. Not easy to install these, btw, but maybe that's just our fixture. The paperwork in the box said to contact Feit Electric by email if any damaged or non working bulbs, so I did. Had to fill out an online form to create a “ticket.” Did that on 3/27. Took several days to get a reply *(4/1) and then someone named Maggie Ventura responded that we have to return them to Amazon. But when I went on Amazon’s site, it says to contact the manufacturer to replace damaged parts! So I reached out again to Feit and included a screen shot showing "Contact the Manufacturer - offered by Feit Electric - to replace missing or damaged parts". Three days went by before Maggie responded "Again our apologies for the inconvenience with the 2 non working bulbs, you would need to return the entire 4 pack back to Amazon." Basically -- “sorry bout your bad luck - we’re not doing anything” Called Amazon to see if there is anything they can do. We don’t want to have to take these 2 out but I also don’t want to spend $47.72 for 2 working bulbs, when we were supposed to get 4. Amazon came through but it took a while. At first, the associate offered me $12 discount - which I did not like, because 2 bulbs were not working, not just 1, so I asked for a manager - Associate said “They’re going to tell you the same thing”. I asked to talk to a manager anyway. The very kind supervisor Brittany resolved it with a promotional credit for 50%. Bottom line - we won't be buying Feit Electrical again. With a 50% chance of getting working bulbs, they must not have very good products … and their customer service is even worse.

These lights are amazing! Added a ton of brightness to my basment work area. Was able to directly install withour removing old ballast which is super convinent. I would highly reccomend. Will see how long they last for but so far so good!

I had a couple of older flourescent fixtures in our warehouse that would have been difficult to replace so I opted to retrofit the bulbs. These worked perfectly and really brightened up the areas they were used in. Excellent value and look great

Perfect tone of light I was looking for. They arrived in short order and were very easy to install. If you’re looking for a softer LED light, these are a good choice.

They are easy to install and definitely brighter than the 4000 lumen bulbs I had previously and the plug and play means we didn’t have to change any wiring or ballasts. However, 1 of 4 bulbs arrived with hairline cracking - it is working for now. Since item is from a third party seller there is no option to replace 1 of the 4 bulbs but Amazon support very helpful and give me a promotional credit.
