I would give it a four or better. I found it to be straight forward and easy to use.After going through the step buy step tutorials, I attained a confidence in how Catia "thinks".

I've been researching solid model programs looking for a replacement for what I've been using. I'd looked at Catia SolidWorks, and Fusion360. I found SolidWorks and Catia to be very clicky and a bit cumbersome for that reason, and neither one of them have integrated FEA or CAM. So for my money Fusion360 is the way to go.

Good book that takes you through the basics of Catia, can be a little hard to follow at times but if you have used a solid modeling software before you should be fine

Excellent book to get going with CATIA.

It's okay. I haven't found anything yet that makes it simple for dummies like me.
