The outside does not get nearly cold enough for water to condense on it.

Will these stand the temps of the microwave for 30 seconds?

No, please don’t put in microwave, it’s metal. But once you put either a cold or hot beverage in it, it keeps it at temperature quite well. I’ve put ice in it & it wasn’t completely melted after 24 hrs.

can this larger one fit in most car cup holders?

I have the 16 ounce and the 24-ounce which both fit in my cup holders in my Toyota 4Runner
