I purchased the Mesh Fabric variant after buying official replacements for my ATH-M20x's for a few years. I was looking for something non-leather as my headphones get a LOT of use and I was fed up of the leather cracking Fitting them is SUPER easy. Tear out the old ones, then drag the new ones through the little indent. The "leather" has a LOT of stretch in it, allowing it to fit even if you have clumsy fingers like me, and it regains its shape within 5 minutes of fitting them, ensuring they don't slip around. These are comfortable, and a lot less sweaty than the official replacements so far despite using them during a heatwave The sound is a little different, as it's different material. But I'm putting this down to wearing my last pads down to nothing. The pads are as deep (if not a little deeper) than the official leather ones. My ears barely touch the speakers, there's essentially no pressure there. The fabric going over the speakers is also fairly soft, and looks as though it'll withstand a little while Unsure as of yet on the longevity, but if it's anywhere close to the year-ish it takes to wear through the official pads, I'll be happy with my purchase. Hopefully I'll be back with a secondary review once these wear through!

Bought these, along with a Soulwit headband for my Audio-Technica ATH-M50x headphones. My original headband pu material totally disintegrated, and the pu on the ear pads was heading badly cracked and about to disintegrate too. My headphones are around 10 years old but still sound great. I didn’t want to spend the money on a new set, so opted to try these replacements. They are pretty close to the original shape, and were very easy to fit, with no tools required. The elastic edges slotted nicely into the groove to position them perfectly on the headphones. Obviously, compared to my 10 year old original pads, these ones feel a little bit more padded, but not excessively so, so they’re likely to be pretty close to the dimensions of a genuine set of Audio-Technica replacements. Can’t comment on the durability, having only just fitted them, but at this price it’s worth a go, to get a few more years out of my headphones. If your MTH-50x pads are showing their age I’d certainly recommend giving these a go, if you don’t want to shell out on a brand new set of headphones

I bought these to replace the original pleather headphone pads on my Audio Technica M40-X’s. They were super easy to fit. Once you get a bit of the edge into the slot on the headphones you just work your way around like putting a bicycle tyre on. (Only much easier) I found the pads themself really comfortable a found my ears weren’t as sweaty as with the original pleather pads. Not much to say about the packaging on these. Cane in a suitable thick transparent plastic ziplock kind of pack. I think they could have used a small cardboard box. For a more environmentally friendly approach, but it is what it is. Very happy with the product. Time will tell but they seem decent quality and I think I’d buy these again if I needed some more.

Brought for a pair of ATH-M50X to replace the original degrading, material flaking, earpads. Just end your search here and save time. These are an absolutely fine replacement. Packaged up sufficiently. 5 min job, easy to replace. Saves throwing away a decent pair of three figure headphones. The material that masks the driver I found is thicker than the original, not thinner as suggested by another reviewer. I wouldn't call myself an audiophile, but I believe I understand good sound and I can't say I've noticed any discernible difference in quality (using wav/aiff/cd sources).

Excellent and comfortable good price

Wish I'd thought about buying these sooner as my original pads were badly disintegrating. These are a great replacement - comfortable and easy to fit.

I can't really complain about the fitment of these pads. After initial instalment the pads were all uniform - looked a bit fake to start with, now they have settled in (< 24 hours of use) , the retaining band (the bit that goes in the slot) has returned to the original dimension, pulling the padded section closer to the plate / baffle, and as a result the padded part now has that wrinkled effect from PU types of pads you get around the edge, I like that, some might not, but it's mainly aesthetic. Sound, I gave 5 stars. Blah blah not OG pads, BUT, I was using a pair of m40x prior, and they "feel" the same as the pads on those (when new), and the extended bass of the m50x does come through with these pads, as does the rest of the audio spectrum. Stereo separation is great, there's no leak. I mention this as I wear glasses and some headphones pads tend not to conform around the arms of my glasses, and this can lead to underperformance when it comes to closed back headphones. Which leads me conveniently onto; Comfort. I wear headphones pretty much all the time, all day pretty much. PU is a bit sticky over time, but these pads are not hot boxes, imo. It's summer in the UK as I'm writing this, humid. Time will tell if they do the typical "pick up oils and grot" thing and deteriorate, leading to replacements again, but so far no discomfort as far as heat related issues go. Regarding my prior point about leakage, while sound produced from the cans doesn't seem to have a chance to travel from ear to ear (cause of glasses arms), external noise still comes through. Attenuation of these are sub par compared to a pair of head hugging Beyer DT100's (no joke I use Beyer DT100/ 150 sans cable as ear defenders at times, they are so good at that). These pads are not mother-in-law proof. I paid £16, I think I got £16 worth of value. If they fail, I may try an alternative, but buy these again, maybe for the m40x, just in case.

Although it might be a bit early to review, I felt compelled to share my initial impressions. I’ve been searching for a set of fabric earpads after getting frustrated with how quickly the original leatherette ones started to peel. Right away, these pads feel premium — soft to the touch and noticeably more breathable, which significantly improves comfort during extended use. The sound signature has shifted slightly, adding a bit more openness to the mids while still maintaining solid bass response. Surprisingly, the passive isolation remains very good despite the breathable fabric. The pads fit perfectly on the M50x BT2 with no issues during installation. The overall look is clean and complements the headset well. So far, I’d definitely recommend these as a worthy upgrade or replacement for anyone looking to enhance both comfort and durability.

Die Ohrpolster sitzen gut und sind bequem. Die Qualität (schwarzes Leder) ist sehr gut. Das "Aufziehen" war etwas schwer, aber ist bauartbedingt nur so möglich. Die Ohrpolster passen gut und halten fest auf den Audio-Technica M50x.

Perfectos para los ATH M50X BT2, tenía unos demasiado gruesos y hacían incómodo usarlos pero estos son mejores aún que los originales, frescos, no sudas y se escucha bien el sonido, tiene buena cancelación del exterior. Los volvería a comprar sin dudas.
