I'm very impressed with these Amazon Basics AAA rechargeable batteries. At under £6 for an 8-pack, they offer incredible value and are an economically smart choice for heavy battery users. They come pre-charged, which is a great bonus. I only needed to top them up slightly before the first use, which is a minor detail rather than a drawback. Beyond the long-term cost savings compared to disposable batteries, they are also a much more environmentally friendly option. These batteries are reliable, recharge quickly, and hold a charge for a long time. While you need a separate charger, they work perfectly with the one I’ve owned for years. They are excellent for devices like TV remotes and are a dependable, long-term choice. I have also owned a older set of Amazon Basics rechargeable batteries for a few years, and they have held up well and remain in use. I know they are high-quality batteries, and I am happy to continue using them. I highly recommend this product.

Rely surprised, TV remote keeps running down with alkaline batteries. So Amazon had a 33% off so gave them a try, Amazon Rechargeable Batteries. They have not stopped working yet, still going straight out of the box Great! And i can recharge them Good Buy so far. Chris.

I purchased this item on September 30th, 2016 for the price of CDN$ 8.79 before tax. I own a Panasonic Eneloop K-KJ17MCA4BA charger and I have been using Eneloop branded batteries with it. I previously purchased the 8-pack of AmazonBasics AAA rechargeable batteries, and I found that they perform just as well as the Eneloops. I did some research and also found that AmazonBasics rechargeable batteries are just re-branded Eneloop batteries. There is no reason to buy Eneloop branded batteries if you have the option of buying these ones. You also get a discount on AmazonBasics products if you are a Prime member, so these already cheap rechargeable batteries become even cheaper. They hold their charge very well and also charge quickly, but I believe the charging speed depends on the charger you are using. I use my AmazonBasics batteries in my remotes, controllers, graphing calculator and wireless mice. What's good about this product? ☑ PRICE: These rechargeable batteries are extremely affordable and are even cheaper with Amazon Prime. ☑ PRE-CHARGED: These batteries come ready to use right out of the package. ☑ QUALITY: As mentioned earlier, they are practically rebranded Eneloops, which are known for their quality and reliability. ☑ PACKAGING: Comes in Amazon frustration-free packaging. What's bad about this product? ⚠ NOTHING: I have personally used the AmazonBasics rechargeable AAA batteries for months and have had no issues. However, some other reviewers have noted that their experience has shown that the battery does not hold it's charge and/or requires frequent charging.

Las compré porque estaba cansado de gastar continuamente dinero en pilas convencionales y, después de utilizarlas durante un tiempo, puedo decir que ha sido una muy buena decisión. Lo que más me ha sorprendido es lo mucho que duran con una sola carga. Las estoy utilizando en diferentes dispositivos de uso cotidiano y el rendimiento es muy bueno. Además, poder recargarlas una y otra vez hace que, a la larga, el ahorro sea considerable. Ya no tengo que estar comprando paquetes de pilas cada poco tiempo, lo que resulta muy cómodo. El paquete de 24 pilas AAA también me parece fantástico, porque permite tener siempre algunas cargadas y preparadas para cuando hagan falta. Así puedo sustituir las que se van agotando sin quedarme nunca sin pilas disponibles. I was looking for reliable rechargeable batteries without breaking the bank. AmazonBasics seemed to offer the best of both worlds: affordability and the promise of quality. I needed batteries for my high-drain devices, like game controllers and toys. I was generally satisfied. These batteries recharge quite quickly and hold a charge reasonably well. However, they do not match the big brands in terms of lifespan. After a few months, I noticed a slight drop in performance. These batteries are decent for the price. They work well for everyday use, but if you're looking for something for very power-hungry devices, they might disappoint you. They lose their charge faster than other more expensive brands. Benefits: - Attractive price - Fast recharge - Good for moderate use Disadvantages: - Shorter lifespan than premium brands - Declining performance over time Next to Panasonic's Eneloop, for example, these batteries are a little behind in terms of longevity. But they cost significantly less, which makes them attractive for moderate use. - Use them for low or medium consumption devices. - Fully recharge them before first use to maximize their lifespan. - Do not leave them in a charger for an extended period after fully charging. For the price, these batteries are a good buy. They're not amazing, but they get the job done for everyday use. If you need batteries for power-hungry devices, consider investing a little more. To maximize the life of your batteries, avoid leaving them in unused devices for long periods of time. And remember, recycling is crucial for used batteries! These AmazonBasics batteries are a good choice for those looking for a compromise between cost and performance. MY EXPERIENCE I use AAAs mostly for my MP3 players. 4GB USB 2.0 Mp3 Music Player with Fm Radio Function Voice Recorder Red . My wife began complaining that our rechargeables (several brands, most more than 5 years old) didn't seem to be delivering as much playing times they used to. So I purchased 4 Amazon NiMH rechargeables---which are said to be repackaged Sony Eneloops, which are generally acknowledged to be the best consumer NiMHs available. CAPACITY Honestly, I have not noticed any difference in how long the new Amazon NiMH batteries lasted compared to my old NiMH batteries. That means that there COULD have been a difference of up to ~20%. But then, I have a better charger than most users---see below. HOLDING CHARGE In actual practice (not charts of test results) most rechargeable loose about 1/2% of their charge per day, or more, so fully charged batteries are nearly empty after 3 months, or less, even if unused. The great (hypothetical) advantage of these Amazon batteries (Eneloops, and other advanced NiMH batteries] is that (theoretically) they hold their charge for years (when stored in optimal conditions), making them practical (but generally not cost-effective) in light-demand applications such as wall clocks or TV remote controls. In actual practice, even these batteries loose their charge much quicker when actually installed in equipment, depending on the type of equipment. My MP3 player is so "leaky" that fresh batteries are dead in about 3 weeks, even if the player isn't used---in which case Amazon/Eneloops wouldn't make any difference. CONCLUSION While I doubt that these batteries live up to their hype in actual use, I have no doubt that they are the best choice among AA/AAA consumer rechargeable batteries. PACKAGING The packaging is a nice 3" X 5" X 1" cardboard box, the batteries in the box are shrink-wrapped together. Honestly, I would have preferred a small cardboard box the size of 4 batteries which could be used for storage, particularly when traveling, since I only use one battery at a time. RECHARGING I strongly recommend Sony BCG34HRE4KN Cycle Energy Quick with Refresh Charger and 4 Pre-Charged 2000 mAh AA Batteries (Discontinued by Manufacturer) . Yes, the Sony costs 2-3X as much as an average dumb charger, and has been discontinued, but is still available, and apparently Sony has no replacement model. Actually, at $33, the Sony is probably the cheapest truly smart charger you can buy. Minus $8-$10 for the included batteries, the Sony charger is, in effect, $20-$25. The next cheapest smart charger I know of is $45 without any batteries. Caution, cheaper Sony chargers which look almost identical are NOT smart. Most chargers are dumb and just charge a preset amount of time--usually 8 hours. They either undercharge or overcharge your batteries. (That is, they overcharge partially charged or low capacity batteries, and undercharge empty high capacity batteries). Overcharging damages batteries. Undercharging causes permanent loss of capacity. You also have to charge 2 or 4 batteries at a time---you can't charge 1 or 3, nor mix AAAs and AAs (except in pairs). The Amazon Basics charger is a nice little charger international travel, but IS NOT SMART. The SONY CYCLE CHARGER monitors your batteries as it charges. If a battery only needs to be topped off--the charger ONLY tops it off, often in just a few minutes. If your batteries need a full charge, they get it, regardless of their capacity, AND as fast as your batteries can accept the charge--usually just a few hours. You can charge ANY number of batteries at a time, including just one, and ANY combination of AAAs and AAs. If a battery dies on you while the SONY is in already in use--no problem, just insert the battery in a free slot and it will be properly charged. The SONY has a "refresh" function which (optionally) fully drains the batteries before recharging---which typically restores lost capacity. Using the "refresh and charge" cycle several times, I've resurrected a half-dozen nearly"dead" NiMHs (which I had just thrown in a drawer). I believe that this charger is why my 5-year old batteries have the same (or nearly the same) capacity as the new Amazon NiMH batteries.
