Margarita Girl machine works great and does what it says it does!
This product functions and does not disappoint. We have had the machine and it works great for both frozen margaritas as well as other slushy drinks. The machine came in a good package that was easy to set up and use. The two best design functions of this product is that it is easy to clean and disassemble. There is minimal to no leaking around the unit and has a tray to collect condensation from the compressor and drink spout. Easy to make and add liquids to and also easy to drain for cleanup. I researched a lot of these before landing on this one and there were two main reasons that I went with this unit. First is that there are replacement parts and gaskets that both come with the unit and are available with an easy design to replace when they wear out. A lot of the other units you have to purchase an entire section of the machine to replace a gasket. The second it that the unit is easy to clean and assemble. Other units will not drain down all of the way which leaves a sticky mess to clean up. This unit has the drain spout at the low end of the bowl that allow you to drain all of the liquid out through the spout - easy!.

Game changer for the party and the kids
It's a slushie machine. What more can you say. Well, I'll tell you what more you can say. It's easy. It's easy to clean. It's easy to setup. It is a little heavy but that makes it feel really sturdy. It makes slush in no time, pour, turn on, and within 30-45 minutes you have a slushie machine in your house. The kids love it and my wife, and I top off the slush with 2oz of vodka or tequila and enjoy the night. Truly wasn't expecting it to be this nice and heavy duty, feels commercial grade. The only thing I would say is that it is for sure loud. We have it in the den in our basement but if it was in the bar where you're going to hang out it could probably be a little loud but eventually just disappear into the background noise. It sounds like a portable electric heater. We've had it for a few weeks now and love every time we turn it on. Enjoy slush in your house.

Like many, wish I would have bought sooner!
I depend on reviews when I pay $700 for something so this review is 100% honest. My first machine from Margarita Girl came in within 2 days of me ordering (I’m in Texas and they are as well). I noticed a tag hanging in it that said that it was checked and working before their shipment. Well, once I started it up, I could tell it wasn’t working/freezing like it was supposed to. I have rented Margarita machines in the past and know that no mater what you pay for them, they ALL are kind of loud. Mine was not. Although it was spinning and doing what it was supposed to, it wasn’t loud. I waited an hour and a half and could tell it wasn’t freezing my mix at all. So, on a Saturday afternoon at about 3PM, I sent an email to Margarita Girl saying that I didn’t think it was working. About 20 minutes after sending the email…again on a Saturday afternoon, I get a phone call from a number in the Houston area of Texas. I answered and it was someone from Margarita Girl asking what was going on with the machine. He asked if the left side was hot and it was. He told me that it was damaged in shipment (the box for sure looked like it may have not been “handled with care” as the box stated) and that the cooling element wasn’t working. He asked if I had the box it came in (I did) and sent me a shipping label via email. He said once I shipped it, they would be notified and would immediately put the replacement out for shipping. I had the replacement on Thursday (shipped the old one Monday around 3pm). The replacement worked perfectly! I made bushwhackers (if you know, you KNOW!!!) for my 50th birthday party that Saturday and the machine worked perfectly!!! Great machine, fantastic company and customer service! If you are on the fence like I have been for the past year, DO IT! I promise you that you will not regret it!!! Thank you Margarita Girl for helping make my 50th EPIC!

Great product
Arrived quickly, packaged extremely well. One minute to set up. Bought a Brix Meter Refractometer for Measuring Sugar Content. Filled hopper with non-alcoholic mix and set to high cooling, takes 30 minutes. (if your pre-mix is cold from refrigerator). I needed to watch slushy consistency since high freezes setting freezes mix to much making dispensing slow to impossible. (Need to set to low cooling or off and slushy will eventually flow better) To bad there isn’t a rotary thermal control to allow us to better regulate temp or if the machine had a sensor to maintain its own perfect temp by cutting compressor on and off as needed. I put unit on a cafeteria type serving tray so I can slide it back and forth easier on kitchen counter. When you clean unit just turn off then drain any remaining unused content into a jug, store in fridge. Pour warm water into hopper let it circulate around then drain and repeat until hopper is clean. If putting up for long term storage after flushing just disassemble and wash parts in sink. Re-apply lubricant to o rings. Only improvement to unit is: 1) to lift back legs a little so slushy flows to front of machine discharge better. 2) I wish the discharge dispenser handle was a true handle not a rocker style. Hopper isn’t attached to unit so you have to put one hand on back top of hopper when dispensing slushy so to keep hopper from rocking forward. At least that’s my concern since hopper moves when I dispensing slushy I’d had to disturb the hopper’s bottom white seal. 3) design auger to push slushy mix into dispenser better.

PAY ATTENTION
The product is easy to tear down and clean. After three uses the vaseline on the gasket will become less effective and lead to a leak. So when you get this product in the mail make sure you lubricate the white gasket before using it. The clear plastic tube that comes out of the front is where the leaking syrup will go if the hopper is compromised by a bad seal. I would recommend putting this product on a full-sized baking sheet with a towel in case it leaks. the slush produced is just fine. I love it. When in operation it is about as loud as a dishwasher. It takes about forty (40) minutes to create slush. Always wanted one. this device does just fine. Sometimes it gets too cold and the slush doesn't flow. you can adjust how cool it gets. I like how they add additional gaskets and lubricant with the shipment. that was a nice touch.

No AA needed, we are not quitters!
What a beast! This is the wine slushy maker supreme. We have zero issues getting wine to freeze. We do 2 bottles of wine,1/2 cup simple sugar,1 cup lemonade. It has to be turned to low or off. It takes only 30 mins fron start to partay! This monster could slushy straight wine (not a good slushy). We highly recommend, spend the extra $$$ and avoid bad performance.
