Solid, simple, durable mouse for gaming
Apparently I've owned this mouse (and I can't believe I'm writing this) for FIVE (5) years. This mouse has been tested and true, accurate, responsive, and durable. Mice are like cars, every one is different and different people have different desires. It's basic, but that's all I want in a mouse. I game almost daily and it's never let me down. It's light, fits into my (relatively) small hands just perfectly. It doesn't have any side buttons for me to accidentally click. It's no Logitech MX-Master series mouse, but for $20, it's one of the cheapest and longest lasting components of my computer build. You may ask, why am I writing this now? Well, after 5 years I've noticed the scroll wheel starting to misbehave. It seems to sporadically scroll opposite of the way I'm actually scrolling. If I'm playing a shooter, it's kind of frustrating to not be able to use the scroll to change weapons on the fly. And browsing websites is becoming a pain. Maybe the sensor needs a cleaning, but I was thinking maybe it's time for a new mouse. Either way, I'd absolutely buy this mouse again and again. Maybe not when it's $30-$40, since you can get a good Logitech for that price. But for around $20, it's the best you can spend in terms of longevity and function.

Simple, high-quality mouse
This the third Roccat mouse I own. I also have a Kone Pure Optical, and a refurbished Kova. I bought the Lua for my work PC because I wanted something that was precise and well made, but without the frills, and the Lua is just that. I'm happy to say that the Lua is closer to the newer generation Roccat mice (i.e., the Kone) than the older ones (the Kova), because the Kova is kinda s***ty. The mouse tracks fine (I think it defaults to 800dpi), and doesn't appear to have built-in acceleration, positive or negative, which is good. It doesn't track quite as precisely as the Kone Pure Optical, but it's barely noticeable - only when you're literally trying to click pixels. The switches for the 3 mouse buttons appear to be very similar to the ones on the Kone, and feel very high quality, but the scroll-wheel seems to be 2nd grade - it works perfectly fine, but it's a little noisier. The buttons and scroll wheel both feel better than the Kova, which just seems poorly manufactured in comparison. The finish on the top of the mouse is matte and very pleasant. The sides are made of hard plastic, and feel a little cheap, but well crafted. What I mean is that the plastic looks like's well molded/cut. It feels perfectly fine and serviceable. The mouse feet are the same shape as the Kone, but appear to be made of a different material. However, they seem slippery enough, and the difference is small - I'm not sure I'd be able to tell in a blind test. I have yet to install the drivers for the mouse, but if they're anything like the drivers for the Kone or the Kova, they should be well put together. In summary, if you're looking for something that is relatively cheap and well made, rather than cheap and with 1000 leds and 100,000 dpi, I recommend the Lua. Would I use it for gaming over the Kone? Probably not. But I would probably be pretty happy if I didn't have that choice.

Not perfect, but pretty good.
Feels great in the hand, works smoothly, and the switches feel just right. Body is definitely on the small side, making this unfit for those with large hands, but those like me who have small hands might find this a great fit. Feature-wise, the LUA is pretty bare-bones, but I find the price justifies this. 3 main buttons (LMB, RMB, and scroll button) plus a DPI switch make for quite a simple mouse, though for the few people in this universe who prefer minimal mouse buttons, myself included, the LUA is a very good, simple, clutter free mouse. Only problem for me, though, is the scroll-wheel. It's become very unreliable over time - not resting in the notches properly and thus randomly letting go and scrolling a notch, plus scrolling sometimes going the opposite direction multiple times per scroll, making scrolling a bit of a chore. I probably would have knocked off another star given the scroll-wheel reliability, but with how it feels to me in terms of ergonomics and switches, I personally find it worth using, regardless.

Great Mouse!
If you want something decent, and not too fancy for gaming, I'd suggest getting this mouse. The price is pretty economical for a pretty good gaming mouse compared to others out there. It feels very comfortable and very ergonomic (the symmetry of the mouse makes it work flawlessly with either left or right handed users). Another awesome feature about it, is that you don't sweat while using it and it remains grime free, unlike those other mice with the smooth, shiny plastic material (yuck). Had to constantly keep cleaning my standard ol' Logitech mouse that was like that. Also, the DPI button comes in handy for switching sensitivity levels on the fly, no more messing around with the settings. Mouse is also lightweight overall, and feels pretty rigid, like a well built mouse it is.

Was will man mehr.

BEST MOUSE EVER While some reviews state the mouse is small, it is the absolute perfect size and feels so natural that sometimes I forgot I was even using one. As the mouse is ambidextrous it is perfect for my left hand. While this is considered a "basic" mouse for gaming, it is perfect for people who choose not to use a multitude of buttons. Since having this mouse I have not had to lift nor reposition to get a better scroll. On a Linux system the install was flawless. Hands down this is the best mouse I have ever owned.

Great mouse I have been using for a couple of months now. I really like the look and the feel of the mouse. Very lovely mouse, has a mix of smooth rubbery and rough plastic textures that are great for extended periods of time. The blue logo looks fantastic calmly pulsing with its own heartbeat. The mouse is quite small but I find It fits well in hand. Bough it as I had an very old Microsoft mouse that liked to act up from time to time making my gaming experience very frustrating. Not a single problem with this mouse although you will need to download a small piece of software that aids your mouse. I notice the mouse is a bit slow to react if you just turn on your computer before the software loads up but after a few seconds it works perfectly. Very accurate for gaming. The third button to switch sensitivity is a bit of a novelty I never switch speeds in game but its nice to have also for those worried I have never in the months of using this mouse clicked that button on accident. Scroll wheel is very solid and rolls in interval 'clicks' great for games where the wheel is used to change weapons. Really could not be happier with this mouse. Top quality, fantastic design, comfortable, accurate. Would buy from this company again. To those wondering I have had this mouse for about 5 months now and its as good as new. EDIT: Its been almost 2 years this mouse has outlived my laptop and still looks and performs as good as new, fantastic quality.
