This product is well made, easy to put on and off, easy to move when wearing and gives immediate relief. I bought knee and ankle sized, and the sizing chart was accurate for me. The wrap is icy cold for 5-10 minutes, then begins to warm up, but I found it remains cool for about 45 minutes. I broke an ankle last fall and I wish I'd had several of these to help with swelling back then. If you are recovering from surgery or have a great deal of swelling which requires constant icing, I'd buy several of these so you can swap them out. So much easier than ice packs or some of the other Velcro wraps. Only con might be difficult to use with a cast, but absolutely awesome once cast is removed.

Used for severe tennis elbow injury...and I don't even play tennis...lol BOTH hot and cold aspects gave me great results and over a couple of months this product (along with anti inflammatory meds) made the difference in a significant reduction in pain and overall improved arm mobility. THANK YOU TOLACCEA!! Also, I was given their Arthritis Ice Glove for testing/review purposes..... Another OUTSTANDING quality product that will have a great benefit for anyone suffering from arthritis joint pain, tightness, or cramping in your hand(s). For me this worked better with the heat aspect and even after 30 seconds in the microwave....this gets HOT!! The refrigerator and/ or freezer options also are quite effective, but was not my preference. My only 2 minor cons of the product would be. 1. Maybe make the velcro wrap a little less intense as it is like industrial strength velcro that I think would hold the spaceship together and can be difficult to undo at times. 2. Finger tips are a little to long in that you are not able to bend the fingers much to be able to work with them and still be able to go about your day. Other than that this is great effective well made product that I would highly reccomend.

I bought this because I was tired of using gel packs with a velcro strap. With this, you just simply slide it on! As far as coldness, it gets pretty cold to the point where there's a slight numbness to the area which I don't mind because it fades away in a couple of minutes. I get approximately 15 minutes of coldness with the sleeve before the coldness dies down. I would like it to last longer but I guess it would suffice to keep some swelling down after a hard run. As far as compression, it's adequate. I don't need this product to really compress my legs because I own separate compression sleeves to do that. A little tip is to freeze the sleeve for more than the recommended time. In that way you get the most coldness out of the sleeves. This product was effective that I bought two pairs for my shins and knees. My recovery time too has been cut short and I feel less sore (if even) the next day. Perfect recovery item for a 53 year old that pickle ball 3 times a week and also surfs 3 times a week with elbow tendinitis issues. Nice tight fit and stays cold for a long time!

I use these exclusively for forearm, elbow and lower to middle bicep pain and they are fantastic. Follow the directions and they work great. Very cold up to about 20 minutes. I highly recommend them!

I'll cut to the chase - I love everything about this, except that 1) it doesn't stay cold very long, and 2) it's too expensive to buy several of them in order to use them in rotation for longer cold application. These are big factors, so I'm removing one star for each. Other than the duration and my budget, this is a great product. I'd been using an ice pack from a food cooler, wrapped in a towel, to ice my elbow. Compared to that, this sleeve is excellent - it immerses the whole surrounding area with cold, rather than just a tiny spot. I can also wear it and do other things, instead of sitting still and using my free hand to hold the old ice/towel in place. It's surprisingly comfortable; the fabric is thick, and inner gel is flexible to use on a joint like an elbow. (For reference, I got a medium sleeve; I"m 6'2", 185 lb, and it fits well). Overall, I'm icing my elbow more frequently throughout the day, because this sleeve makes it more convenient to do so. I have to assume that, on balance, that's a good thing. After leaving the sleeve in my freezer for several hours, I get about 10 minutes of useful cold application from it (in an 80 F degree room). The sleeve starts out so cold that it's borderline painful (which I mean as a compliment), but quickly warms to the point that it's only cool to the touch. I'm supposed to be icing 30 minutes on / 30 minutes off. If I had three sleeves, I think I could use them in sequence, and cool them enough in between, such that I could achieve that goal. But, for the nearly $100 that it would cost, I'm not willing to do so. Instead, I'm going to use this sleeve as frequently as I can cool it, then supplement with the old ice pack / towel in between. That said, if you were using this for heat, I think it might be a winner. Per the instructions, it only takes a few seconds in the microwave to warm the pack. Even if the heat wears off quickly (and I don't know, because I haven't tried it) you could heat it back up again quickly, too. For cold application, though, you need to wait. Lastly, I've only had this sleeve for one day, so I can't comment on the durability yet. It comes in a zip-lock bag, and I've been keeping it in that bag in the freezer, in hopes of keeping it clean over the long term.

Worth the money. Wish stayed cool longer but good while it lasts.

Did hours of research looking for a long compress, a comfortable one, and one that is snug for my fractured humerus at my shoulder and bone fragment. I chose this one and received it yesterday (2/8/25). I love it. In fact, it works so well and is so comfortable that I use it 2x/day. I pull up so it's from my elbow to my armpit for 20 mins. (while separately holding a smaller cold pak from my armpit to my shoulder), put it back in the freezer for 30 mins, then put it on from my elbow to wrist. I do have to pinch it with a clip at my wrist, though, to tighten it up. Buying 2 of them would be a good idea to cover my arm from my wrist to my armpit at once. Too bad the company doesn't have a compress that is much longer. I have very long, thin arms. Thus, ordered a Small.

Don't keep in fridge for long time. Starts to leak.

It fits good. Only issue is that it doesn’t stay cold for very long. Haven’t tried heating it.

Hab es für das Knie bestellt. Trägt sich wie eine Socke, hält gut und vor allem kühlt es sehr gut. Es wird relativ schnell kalt wenn man es in den Kühlschrank legt, diese Temperatur ist auch ausreichend kühl für das Gelenk. Vor allem liegt die Kühlung über das ganze Gelenk schön an, das schafft man mit keinem Coolpack oder ähnlichem. Ich bin begeistert, kann es nur empfehlen und hab mir schon ein zweites zum Wechseln bestellt!
