Love this soil for my houseplants—everything I’ve used it on has responded really well. It retains moisture nicely, which is ideal for plants that prefer consistently damp soil. I mix it with perlite to improve drainage and keep the balance just right, which helps prevent the soil from becoming too heavy. It’s easy to work with, feels good quality, and has been very reliable so far. Overall, a great potting mix that I’ll definitely keep using.

I couldn’t get them in a supermarket due to mobility issues so I had them delivered to me by Amazon. I ordered 2x 10L because I needed to make sure I can carry them; even for a distance of a metre or so. The soil had a great earthy smell as if you were in a forest! My plants have now been re-potted.

Soil came moist and airy, i added perlite to better improve drainage. Had a few fungas gnats appear, unsure if it was from the soil, but it didn’t escalate to more than a few flies. Plants did do very well on this soil so am happy with it. Houseplants are doing well in they're new pots , they are growing quickly so this compost is a very good buy

Do not buy this rubbish. After planting many seedlings, hundreds of gnat like flies appeared a few hours later. Despite raising my concerns and saying they would investigate, the company did not respond to my complaint within 48hrs then requested a picture of the flies in the bag of compost, they must have disbelieved that all the compost in the pots was from that bag. I had to complain through the A-Z guarantee. Dreadful product, dreadful service.

Good quality

After about a month of using this for my new seedlings, I found mushrooms growing out of my yucca plant which has resulted in trunk rot and also an infestation of fungus gnats. Having checked the open bag, which I sealed and put in a storage area, they are swarming around it (only just found them today), but I have been struggling to get rid of the gnats in the plants. I have lost a seedling which was growing new shoots as the larvae eat the baby plants. And I've also lost my yucca plant. I have had to discard the rest of the bag which still had 2/3 of it left so it was a complete waste of money. I have spent money on fly trays lava-lite and mozzie dunks to no avail. NOT IMPRESSED, THESE SHOULD BE TREATED WITH AN INSECTICIDE OR NEMATODES OF SOMETHING BEFORE PACKAGING. Shame as the compost itself is probably really good but my house is swarming with these little critters.
