Good value for money , works well, feels quality

I had an older laptop which was broken, snd wanted to recover my profile /info from the hard drive. This cable is easy to use - simply take old the ok’d drive and plug it I to thus cable ... the other USB end goes into my working laptop .. and hey presto I was able to use thus cable to boot my laptop from the old drive , and to access files on the old drive. Superb product, well made. Did the job well and saved paying a repair shop.

This connector is the bees knees. Need to check a hard drive you can use this and just plug it into the USB slot. Larger size drives may need a power supply. This is perfect for SSD's. I just used it to print a smart report on a hard drive

Works well, seems well built. Only minus a star because it doesn't line up with the width of a 2.5" drive, if it did, it would look a lot more pleasing. Can read SMART data and it uses the UAS driver.

Excellent product ordered a second one after first one's performance. Simply attach to a compatible drive and plug the USB connector into the device. So far used with a Windows 10 PC, Android 10 phone and a Raspberry Pi 4 which with the updated Raspberry Pi firmware applied you to can boot onto the attached drive. It also has the faster UASP support which some of the cheaper ones don't. This will not power a 3.5 inch HDD. Ugreen sell one that you can attach a separate PSU to for that which I have also purchased.

What like: * Great design, very minimal and clean * Plug and play functionality, no issues using it on Windows10, Mac, Linux and even on my Android phone * Impressive speeds (see screen shot, numbers dont mean much but felt very fast in use) What I dislike: * nothing Ugreen is now of the brands i trust more over others. They have been making great PC devices and ive personally not had any issues with them. This is another one of those bits of tech that for me are invaluable. Plug in a 2.5" SSD and especially with Linux i found the speed to be just as good as when attached to the internal SATA connection. Highly recommend!

Working great with a raspberry pi 4 to boost storage speed and add plenty of capacity. Having have sd card failures recently, I wanted more resilience in the storage and hope this has helped. Performance is noticeably better and it has not indicated any issues in the few weeks it has been in constant use. Installation directly was tested first and it was a breeze but I actually wanted to move an existing installation from an SD card (containing Noobs) to the SSD which required a bit of manipulation of the boot cmdline and changing the fstab in the main linux partition. Price was reasonable, if not as cheap as some pi specific places were selling, but this came quickly with other essential items (like a drive) all pushed through the letterbox. I may have to upgrade some other pi's now.

It is functional but it uses a lot of power which some USBs cannot deliver, or if you go into a USB that is in a shared lane, it can slow the other one to ridiculous proportions, eg if you have a mouse dongle plugged in, your mouse becomes very laggy. There are some that come with an external power which is probably a better way to go ANYWAY because it will be more stable. It looks quite plasticy and I could see it breaking since obviously usually with SATA you aren't plugging and unplugging it all the time

Collegato ad un ssd, letto subito, velocità di lettura e scrittura veloci, non ho strumenti per farlo ma ad occhio era veloce, certo il pc è nuovissimo, comodo, pratico, tascabile.

Great value on a well made cable. Plugged it in and it fit perfectly. Allowed me to get data off my dying SSD just before it totally failed. Just as fast as the cable that came with the computer. Highly recommend
