FOLKS, This is one amazing single serve coffee brewer. First, A Short Story," I have been a Keurig Fan Boy from their 1st machine many years back and have owned 6 different models over the years. My last Keurig was the "Lack Luster" K550 2.0 with the cheap plastic pot that would not allow brewing to take place! Anyway, the worst machine I have ever purchased. After using it for 3 weeks, plugging up every-other day (now I know why they provided a De-Plugging Tool with this machine, OMG!!), lousy tasting coffee etc.etc... I returned it. I will never purchase a Keurig again!!" Now for this Amazing Machine that is $36.00 less than the Keurig K550 and 100% better! It arrived 2 days after ordering from Amazon by "My Secret Pantry", I unpacked it, washed it out, cycled 1 tank of water and made my first cup of coffee. WOW, what a difference, great tasting mug of coffee for once! I really like the Volume Dial for cup size selection, goes from 4 oz to 12 oz in 1/2 oz increments, very nice. Recovery for next cup is very fast, nice lighting set up both for the tank and for the cup when brewing. Has a energy saver button that I use and it shuts down the iCoffee Brewer after about 2 hours of non use. When off condition, I just push the on button and in about 30 to 60 seconds, the ready light comes on and away you go. You can use any brand of One Serve Pods. I stopped using Keurig, way to expensive and now use San Francisco Bay Pods from Costco On-Line or from Amazon. Best pricing seems to move back and forth between the two. To date I have had "0" issues, great tasting coffee and can use any Single Serve Pod brand out here... Side note: The San Francisco Bay Coffee Company, provides this iCoffee RSS500-MOZART in all their offices for their employee and they also sell other iCoffee models at their On-Line Store but the best Price Point is here on Amazon, super fast shipping and no tax! I've been a loyal Keurig customer for over 10 years. Faithfully buying their nicest home models every 1.5 - 3 years (the average life span of a Keurig). When our last model died, we did not want to switch to the 2.0 system so we were forced to look for other machines. A friend suggested this one and I have to say, we are both really happy with it. The Pros greatly outnumber the Cons so I am going to start with the Cons first. Our coffee consumption, just for reference, is about 3 cups for myself, and between 5-10 for the love nugget. CON - After a month, the only complaint we have for this machine is the energy saver mode - in that you can't shut it off if you want the water to be warmed past two hours after your last cup. So in the morning, when the love nugget is walking around in his zombie-like trance, grumbling and moaning, he has to wait a minute or two for the water to warm (to which, he grumbles and moans - as he is not capable of actual words until his first cup (ok.. third) of coffee.. By the fifth, he is stringing words together in sentences. Coffee is a very important part of the day. PRO(S) - 1. The coffee spinner - when I saw this, I thought it was just a cute but gimicky appearance feature, but it really does make a difference in the taste of the coffee. A lot of the darker roast coffees have that nasty bitter taste, and this technology eliminates it so you still enjoy the deep roast flavor without any of the tang. Kudos, iCoffee! Good one! 2. The ounce dial - with a Keurig, I thought we had it pretty good with 5 different options, but no - the ounce dial is better. If you find a roast that you like that would taste better with just half an ounce less of water, poof. Done. And the display is large enough so the person behind you (mumbling and groaning) can see it and change it if they need to. The display was so small and oddly-lit on the Keurig (pretty, but oddly-lit), that most of the time we just took the cup size we didn't want because by the time we noticed, the coffee had brewed. 3, The price - half the cost of the nicest home models in the Keurig line and has all of the same features that we coveted. 4. The cup glow - ok - this really doesn't affect the taste of the coffee, but I found our lives were slightly less complete without this feature. There is a glowy blue light from above that gently cascades down into your mug while the coffee is brewing, filling you with a sense of major accomplishment, as well as anticipation of things to come. It finally makes sense when people say that "They saw the light". I, too, have seen the light. And the light is good. 5. The appearance - it was well-thought out. There's a clear bubble at the top where you can watch the spinner spin, and it matches the design on the cup holder, which easily pops out so you can use a travel mug, then pops right back into place with a magnetic CLICK. The blue light fills the water reservoir as well as your cup. It is the perfect combination of function and pretty. Overall, although change is scary and bad, we are very pleased with this machine and would happily recommend it to anybody who does not want to move away from the single-serve lifestyle of the Keurig machines. **Editing in a comment - 4/21/16** If you bothered to read all this way, anyway - here is another comment in the 'pro' category. After 6 months, our Mozart refused to suck water. Straight-out refused. The love nugget grumbled something incomprehensible and pointed. Supergirl to the rescue, I have my pink paper clip in hand, ready to remove the coffee ground blocking the flow of water from the upper needle... However, the day was not saved... til I called. I'm thinking - I never filled out the registration.. But if they let me order a part, maybe we can still save our Mozart. Talked to their customer service... and not 6 hours later, a new replacement Mozart is on its way. I asked, "How much for the replacement?" since I was hoping to only have to buy a part - they said nothing.. Not nothing as in silence. They said, :"Nothing." Really? You're replacing our already awesome coffee maker for nothing? *Happy Dance*. Kudos, Remington. Never has Keurig offered to replace our machine when one has failed (and often they have failed!) Truly happy campers, here.

Do not buy!!! Coffee pot does not work for long and customer service is terrible. Unfortunately we are on our 3rd icoffee mozart, in less than 6 months! And it isn't working right! I have to say I read reviews a lot before buying and rarely write a negative one. But I feel buyers beware! I wanted to love this coffee maker and did for the few weeks that it actually worked. There aren't many coffee makers that you can use all k cups with. Our first coffee mozart we bought on Amazon.com shortly after ours just stopped working, no coffee, water, sound, nothing! I called icoffee and they started off with great customer service and over night sent a newly refurbished one. This was great, right? So I thought, for a month or so it worked then the exact same thing happened again, no coffee, water, sound, absolutely nothing! So another call to icoffee, not quite as friendly customer service and they had no solutions to the problem, but sent another refurbished coffee ...all wet in the box again. This literally only worked for a few days. Now you either get no coffee or the spin brew technology fails and you get a terrible weak cup of coffee and waste a kcup. So. ....yet another call (or should i say half dozen calls)...I have yet to have someone return a message or talk to me beyond "let me transfer you, or hold on" for 15+ minutes before hanging up on me. Shame on you Carlos and Kathy at I coffee...I have not said one rude thing, talked loud or even acted mad. But now an furious at your customer service! Do not buy, do not buy!!!

Before I go too far with the review, just a quick FYI...giving it 5 stars simply because I haven't discovered any major issues yet. With that said, my initial impressions are that this is a rather nice product and one-ups the newer Keurigs by virtue of it's ability to use all major beverage provider's pods without issue. Also comes with an iCup reusable minibasket/filter that allows the user to brew their own freshly ground beans or favorite store variety ground coffee. I would suggest purchasing one or two additional iCup reusables however, as emptying, rinsing and refilling is rather annoying should you desire a quick second or third cup. To my knowledge, these can also be had from Amazon. This machine has a Dial-A- Brew feature that allows the user to dial up from 4 to 12 ounce brews in half-ounce increments. Nice feature if your formal dinnerware comes with tiny cups and saucers, but your regular morning cup of joe is a hearty mug full. Which segues nicely into the idea that the brewer also features a removable cup stand to accommodate your larger mugs or glasses as well as a reasonably sized travel mug. The base is held in place magnetically, and as of yet I have not had it pop out of place inappropriately. As for the SpinBrew Technology, the brewing needle actually spins in the pod as it steams and stirs the brew, for what Remington refers to as a mini french press effect. I can't honestly say whether this makes for a better cup of coffee or not, as my taste is not that refined. Sometimes I think it's all in your head at any rate. Or your simply a coffee snob. However, I will give the machine its props in one area re the flavor...I do notice a distinct reduction in bitterness from my usual drip style coffee. And for me, that's enough. Brewing temperature is closer to established optimal than most lower/moderately priced machines I think, so it might be said that this makes for a better tasting cup of coffee as well. The Mozart model brewer has relatively few controls. An LCD digital readout showing ounces and water temp status. A knob to dial in your preferred beverage size. And two small buttons for power and Energy Saver function. In normal mode, the unit will remain on and hot for two hours of non-use, after which it will remain on for an additional 26 hours, however the hot water holding tank temp will be reduced. While in this mode, water temp comes back up rather quickly, so you are still able to brew a quick cup. It will shut itself off completely after a total of 28 hours. Should you choose to use the Energy Saver function, simply press the appropriate button and the unit will shut itself down completely after 2 hours of non-use. This function will remain in effect until you deselect it. The only other feature of note is the lighting...yes, I said lighting. When the unit is on, the water reservoir is lit with bright blue LEDs. When it's actually brewing, the cup cave is also lit with blue LEDs. This light goes out when brewing is completed. The LCD readout is also blue, and is not illuminated when unit is off. So if you're into lighting, this is the machine for you! Personally, meh...I can take it or leave it. It does, however, draw interesting comments from friends and family. All in all, a nice unit, and I would have to say a good purchase should you be in the market for a single serve brewer. I've had mine for a month or so, now, and not a single problem. So while nothing is ever perfect, I think you could do worse. I recommend the iCoffee Mozart highly. Remington has done well. 4/11/16 Update: In my review for this item, I noted that additional iCup reusable brew cups were most likely offered by Amazon. After a bit of research I find I am mistaken. As of this date, they do NOT offer the iCup reusable. I was, however, able to find them at Bed, Bath and Beyond for $9.99 + tax.... Update 10/23/16: update from April indicated that as of that date the iCup reusable brew cups were not available on Amazon. Discovered this morning that now they are, for $14.46 with free shipping. Still available at Bed, Bath and Beyond for $9.99 plus tax however.

Purchased December 11, 2015, the pump stopped delivering water on January 11, 2017. I'm a bit disappointed it didn't last longer since was a $100.00(+) purchase. It would be nice to be able to purchase a new pump and install it, but I didn't see anything available when I Googled it...maybe someone else will have better luck. In so far as the mechanics go, my wife and I loved it. Quiet, and the coffee was always at just the right temperature. I've read where people purchase their iCoffee and the pump failed within a few months, I guess we got lucky to have ours last this long. I really hate to toss it when the only thing wrong with it is the water pump, but I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet and move on...we purchased the iCoffee DeVinci model with the digital interface as a replacement, maybe this one will last longer...we hope so, it's a good product just needs a bit more longevity which is why I couldn't give it a five star rating.

After 3 top line Keurig machines, each lasting just over a year, I decided to go with the iCoffee because it alleged to have a "different" pump. Well, I don't think it has even been a year, and the iCoffee started wheezing and belching to put out a few ounces with a 2-minute wait. Today it died completely. I will buy a cheap k-cup style maker so I can use the 200+ k-cups I have, but this technology is simply not ready. The cost is outrageous, and none of them will last much more than a year. I'm going back to Mr. Coffee, the old fashioned kind, as soon as I use all my k-cups. I don't recommend this technology to ANYONE. It's great to have a fresh cup of coffee at any time, but somebody needs to figure out a way to make one that will last more than a year.

I purchased the iCoffee Mozart for $114 thru the seller Cowins here on Amazon. Packaging was good, the box looked a bit old, it had a $99 sale sticker on it, it did not come with the registration card so I'm assuming I can still register the product thru iCoffee. As far as the machine goes, after much research, the reason I went with iCoffee for a single serve coffee maker is because it's supposedly built better with a better pump/parts when compared to other single serve. I hate going with what's popular (keurig) and I love that the a reusable filter is included, I try to be as eco-friendly as I can whenever I can. The machine is easy to use, everything is fairly straight forward. I did read in the manual that you should not use fine ground coffee or the warranty will be voided so that's something to consider if your favorite coffee is only available fine ground. As others have stated, the taste is very smooth/watered down. However, prior to this I used a $20 drip Mr. Coffee for over 10 years and it's my understanding that most drip coffee makers don't reach the correct temperature or burn your grounds. Also, my "cup" of coffee is about 16 oz and this machine only produces 12 oz max. Of course I can run a 4 oz cycle but I would have to empty the filter (its hot) and re-fill it to get my 16 oz. I will add that the reusable filter holds about 1 1/2 tbsp. of coffee as opposed to the full 2 tbsp. I will update my review later to see how it holds up, I'm hoping this machine lasts me atleast 5 years or so. UPDATE: 6/3/2016 Machine still working great. However, I just noticed that I recieved expired coffee pods sample. I should've known they were expired since the box was a bit beat up. I also noticed that regardless of how coarse or fine the coffee is, it still leaves quite a bit of coffee ground residue; there's always a good amount at the bottom of my cup.

Update 4/4/24: I've used K-cups since they first came out and you had to buy your coffee from restaurant supply stores. I've never had a Keurig machine last more than 14 months. Keurig is garbage and so is almost all their coffee. I never liked Green Mountain coffee. But I could live with their "Breakfast Blend" and K-cups were just too appealing; as I'm the only one in the house who drinks coffee. Then the day came that Keurig lost their patents and this brewer was created and Folgers started making K-cups with their Folgers Gourmet line of coffee. And you can get Folgers for 45 cents a cup at Sam's Club if you buy 100. What could be better than this? This brewer is running strong after 7 years! Really, I looked it up. I've only cleaned the tank twice. I do use filtered water, but I did for the Keurig's as well, but that didn't help that junk. And, the Cuisinart (made by Keurig) that did last 14 months, was completely wore out and the solenoids were rusted solid. This Remington I-coffee, is an entire different brewing system and takes the high pressure off the pump. And unlike the garbage Keurig machines, it uses lines, valves, and solenoids made for liquids. In fact, I was so impressed, I bought the last two they had here at Amazon. Once I found out they were discontinued, I bought the last three on E-bay. I was going to give them away, but liked it so much, I wouldn't give them away and they're all downstairs on the shelf in case the need ever comes up. Even though these are discontinued, if you EVER see one at a garage sale? BUY IT, you won't regret it. HEY REMINGTON, GET OUT THE OLD MOLDS AND PRODUCE THESE MACHINES AGAIN! DO THE WORLD A FAVOR! I highly recommend this brewer and wouldn't have anything else. 7 full years people and not so much as a hiccup. I also recommend the Folgers K-cups. A great medium blend grind. Better than the Folgers you always knew. I've wanted to review this as soon as I got it and it took me 5 years to remember. LOL There, I did it. And Keurig? Sorry you dropped the ball and decided to make cheap Chinese junk and screw people on the price. And as if that's not bad enough you tried to fingerprint you K-cups so only your machines could use them. You know what you did. That's why you went bankrupt and it didn't happen soon enough.
