Genuine Rainbow E Series E2 Gold 2 Speed Vacuum Cleaner (Renewed)

I have used a Rainbow Vacuum cleaner for over 40 years, so I definitely know how to operate one. Mine finally quit after 25 years so I ordered a replacement through Amazon. When I tried to use it the first time, it made an absolutely unacceptable noise and the powerhead did NOTHING!. I notified GreatVac and they, very promptly and courteously, sent me return instructions and I received another complete unit in a reasonable time. I use it exactly 4 times and all was great. When I tried to use it the next time, the powerhead had power to it, but the brush would not turn at all. So, I am now in the "make a video and send it to us so we can decide what to do" process and I don't have a functioning, new, $1000 vacuum! To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I will say, their responses have been courteous - I would rather have a machine and powerhead that works!

My carpets have never been cleaner, and it’s so easy to use! It’s light weight, and I actually like cleaning my house now. That really says something!

The handle attachment bar attaches to the Power Nozzle and the handle is upside down. Amazon said return and they will replace it. For now I’m just giving this review a 2 star. I hope the replacement will be right. It took so long to get here.

Top dollar for a quicky rebuild....motor was good but accessories worn showed heavy use. water tray cracked then reglued $30 replacement part. Warranty on Amazon states one thing, warranty in package states only vacuum motor is covered. Accessorie chrome pipes dinged up show heavy wear. Power head had loud screaming bearings. Found all this unacceptable at a $1000 price point. Sent back for refund

Excellent reconditioned rainbow vacuum that was delivered quickly and as advertised. I would definitely recommend purchasing from this vendor. The price is much lower than buying new and the product performs great.

Return product if it seem used if ordered a new product. Double check if wire is long enough to connect carpet attachment reaches unit.

I just received my "Genuine Rainbow E Series E2 Gold 2 Speed Vacuum" order today (Feb 14, 2020). I turned it on and it's so noisy. The noise sounds like it's about to break down. Sounds like an airplane ready to take off. I used to own 2 Rainbow Vacuums before and I know what they sound like. My second one just stopped working that's why I ordered this one and I know it didn't sound like the one I just ordered here. Besides, the one I ordered here looks like it hasn't been cleaned yet. There are some scratches and the paints around the ring also came off. I'd like to return this machine back to you for a full refund.

I like it, I use it, but the motor does produce a bit of noise from a possible unbalanced impeller. That scares me due because it may be a indication of an upcoming failure. Time will tell!
