Perfect candles for my wedding! Lasted the whole ceremony and fit perfectly in my votives!

These candles are great value, convenient and burn for a long time if you use as directed. These are ideal for glass votive holders that are 2 or 3" in diameter at the most. I typically get a good 4-5 hour burn time per candle. I had some in very narrow holders that burned for 10+ hours! If you use a holder that is too large, they burn out quickly.

My family owned a candle shop in northern California for nearly 20 years so I know how votives should burn. Not even 50% of the votives I purchased could meet basic standards. The wicks are so thin the votives self-extinguish within 15 minutes of being lit and are often impossible to re-light. The cheap wax doesn't completely burn, so you're left with gobs of cooled wax to dig out of your votive container before you can put the next votive into it. The quality of the glow is so poor you can't tell if the votive is lit even from a close distance. And they certainly don't burn anywhere near 10 hours. A waste of your money and patience. Buy a decent brand, not these.

With a 10-hour burn time, these unscented wonders glow long enough to guide the wise men and Santa to your doorstep. I was skeptical about their staying power, especially in the breezy evenings, but these candles hold their ground like champs—even with a little wind trying to ruin the vibe. They burned mostly evenly, and hardly any of that annoying wax-drip drama that makes you question your life choices and ponder the safety of farolitos. Now, a pack of 100 might feel like overkill, but trust me, it’s not. I used about 60 in our small yard and between farolitos, power outages, and those random moments you need ambient lighting to look like a Pinterest goddess, you’ll use them all. Only downside? They’re so perfectly unscented that you might forget they’re burning until someone says, “Your house looks magical!” So maybe add “keep an eye on them” to your to-do list. Overall, these candles deliver big Christmas magic, reliable burn time, and that chic European touch. Your farolitos—and your festive spirit—will thank you!

Always use these for our luminaries, burn evenly and do burn as long as listed for the candles. Pleased with these votives, use every year.

This seemed like a great economical purchase for a women’s conference. However, the quality of the candles proved inconsistent at best. First, several candles were broken and therefore unusable. Others had such a short wick they could not either be lit or hold a flame. The ones that did stay lit lasted for at least the 8 hours of the event. However, note that the entire candle melts, so it must be used in a holder that can contain it. We learned this the hard way.
