Lavazza Qualita Rossa Coffee Beans, Pack of 6, 6 x 1000g

After a few years of running our espresso machine, we've concluded that consistency in process is as, if not more, important than going for fancy different local varieties; we found that every time we discovered a new roaster we'd waste 1/3 bag dialling in the right grind and dose. Eventually we decided to settle on a consistent, repeatable brand that we could get easily. Lavazza is that brand. Whilst not always the last word in character, it's easy-drinking coffee that's inexpensive and - to my non-coffee nerd tastes - results in a very tasty flat white or similar. I would certainly argue that a properly dialled in Qualita Rossa will taste nicer than an under-extracted fancy-pants locally roasted offering (which is quite likely if I am the one pulling the shots; your mileage may vary, as they say :) )

Items came nicely packaged. We are great fans of Lavazza coffee in my household. I’ve got nothing to fault this product. We love grinding our own coffee as the flavour is a lot more intense and rich. The best espresso experience one could enjoy every morning ☕️

Definitely a consistently good everyday coffee nothing top tier but really good quality beans.

I've stored these for future use, but we know the quality is good. The price is very competitive. Delivery was very prompt. No problems at all.

This is an excellent coffee, sold on Amazon at a pretty reasonable price (£45.89 for 6 1000gm packs in May 2016 as a guide) with delivery included. It sells for rather more than that in the supermarkets, but you don't of course need to buy 6 packs there. It depends on how much coffee you use, naturally, but as a guide the packs bought in May 2016 came with a Best Before date of November/December 2017. They're vacuum packed, and I know from past experience that they will keep up to and even beyond that date without any discernible loss in quality - and this is a good quality coffee. Not the very best, of course, but one of the best in this sensible price bracket. It's reliably good, with a long date on it, and sold at a good price. Well recommended.
