A classic design, time-proven
This combination of cutter and screen gives me a comfortably close shave. I have used this Remington system for a long time, and will until these cutters and screens are no longer sold. I always buy from this supplier because they are reliable and prompt, with a good price. The only improvement would be to sell this in a parts kit of two screens with a cutter, as the screens wear quicker.

Installed one of these in my old Remington XLR-600 shaver and I've been delighted with the comfortable, close, efficient, and irritation-free shaves I've been getting since. They provide a shave that's very nearly as close as with Remington-branded SP40 foil, and doesn't give me razor bumps. Great product!

Not the original screens
I purchased these a few years ago and needed new ones. I ordered two and was excited when they arrived. These screens are flat and would not sit properly in place to curve for the blades. I tried both of the screens and neither worked like they should. I have an older electric razor so I don’t know if they didn’t work for me this time or if the new screens are made differently. They didn’t work in my razor maybe they’ll work for you

mad as hell.
Mad as hell, came dirty, torn, did not look like item in photo. I send it back. My bathroom is still cover in hair dust and hair. Send back to Goodman's for a REAL SP40 Screen foil. Not a cheap Chinese copy that does not have the plastic lock bars. Plus dirty, and damaged!!

Works in my XLR 800
I have an older Remington XLR 800 shaver that I recently started using again for a quick shave. The micro screen wore through and I did get nicked up by the cutter, but more like a scrap.It's been a nice quality shaver so I was happy to find a new micro screen replacement on Amazon. There is a video on YouTube on how to replace it. It was fairly easy and for a decent price I'm good to go again.
