After Bite, Pharmacist Preferred Insect Bite Treatment, 0.5-ounce (4 pack), Multi (0006-1030)

I was outdoors night before last and ended up with several mosquito bites on one leg, and I was out of After Bite at home. Ordered the 4-pack yesterday, received it this morning, and finally... sweet relief from the constant itching. I prefer this pen (liquid) version - it just plain works. I am always the one of the family who seems to get the mosquito bites every summer... I'm so happy to have my After Bite back on hand. The container (dispenser pen with applicator tip) is hard plastic, so it won't break open or get crushed - one is going into my purse right now!

I am incredible edible as far as gnats and mosquitos are concerned. This product stops the itch IF it is used shortly after bite. I love the fact that there is no color, odor and it works quickly. Great value.

Pros Pack of 4. I can take one to work, leave one in my car ect, Either works, or its a placebo where my brain thinks its working. Either way the itch goes away for 5-10 minutes. Draw right on your mosquito bites within seconds. Lasts a long time Cons Has a somewhat strong smell but only lasts for a minute Can sometimes be hard to get the liquid out of the pen. Need to shake a little but then too much may come out. Takes a few minutes to start working. Just touching the bite alone though provides relief for a few seconds. I prefer a spray that I used to use as a kid that harden the bites. It seemed to work better than this however I would definitely buy this stuff again. It can be a life saver on those nights when you are covered in bug bites and just want to get some sleep!

I first used this during a trip to Mt. Lassen National Park in early spring, when the mosquitoes were out in force and they nearly sucked me dry. I thought that I would be safe with wool long underwear and double-layered hiking pants. I was mistaken. Those little suckers drilled right through and I was covered by dozens, if not hundreds, of bites. I itched like crazy even after washing and treating the bites first with alcohol and then with witch hazel. I then used After Bite and the itchiness went away as if by magic. Truly amazing stuff. I understand that the active ingredient is just ammonia... Whatever, it worked so well I put a full tube of this stuff in every first aid kit and emergency kit I have. The tube is about the diameter of a lib balm and about 1.5 times as long. Unscrew the cap and there is an applicator pad that looks a little like a big white eraser. Just rub that on the bite and presto! No more itch. I believe you can apply as needed, but I only needed one application per bite. I haven't used a full tube yet, but it seems like it would last a good long while; you can hear the liquid inside if you shake it and the applicator allows only a small amount to cover your bite as you rub it on. If you are ever out in the woods and even remotely likely to be bitten or stung by an insect, have one of these with you. I now consider this an essential addition to my camping and first aid kit. Five stars-plus!

I love this product. It is the only thing that works for the intense itch I get from insect bites. The seller shipped quickly and there were no quality issues. Definitely recommend.

Thia is absolutely (in our humble opinion) the best and most effective after bite treatment to stop itching and reduce inflammation, and we've tried just about everything out there!

I give the Tender after bite itch eraser a 3 out of 5 Pros:- Temporarily relieves itching - Comes in a very portable container (Size of a large Sharpie) - Affordable Cons:- Itch comes back after about 30 minutes - Not very much liquid in each tube. Conclusion: Using Ice is a better option, but this is a good bug itch reliever if you're on the go and are willing to store it in your purse or pocket.

Works as described

Nice, neat and easy to use. Although it does relieve itching it does not last very long - about two hours before having to apply once more.
