These are definitely like jello. A little more gelatinous than jello, but you get the idea. They have to be refrigerated though. Or frozen I guess, but I've never had them like that. I do like them and so does my kid so I will probably repurchase in the future, even though they are a tad pricey. Umm the only thing that bugs me is that it claims "MANY FLAVORS" and that's a lie lol there's strawberry, grape, pineapple and lychee. Thats not really "many flavors" to me but 🤷‍♀️ lychee is my favorite one. They do have tear offs at the top but they kinda squirt so you have to use your mouth OR use scissors.

I bought this container of Japanese "candy" as a gift to my niece who LOVES all things Japanese. I received the item the day after I ordered it, so shipping was FOR SURE on point. The container, packaging, and flavor assortment was also great, I just wasn't expecting jello. I initially wasn't going to open the container, but considering this is part of her birthday gifts, I decided to check the quality before putting it in the mail to her. Upon opening one of the "candies" some of the juice popped out which ran down my hands. Not a huge deal. I then tasted it and it's TOTALLY jello. Same consistency, same taste, same gelatinous texture. Not at all what I was expecting. I paid $11 and change for a container of plastic straws filled with jello. Jello is typically super cheap so I'm disappointed. I decided to take a 2nd one out of the container and throw it in the freezer to see what it turns out like. If they're better frozen, I still plan to send it to my niece with a note attached to her to put the container in the freezer and enjoy them frozen. The one I had didn't taste bad. Was sort of a tropical flavor. Still though, I was hoping for Japanese CANDY.... not boring jello.

These jelly candies are AMAZING. The texture is soft and chewy without being too sticky, and the flavors are really bold and fruity — not that fake, chemical taste some candies have. Every piece tastes fresh, and they don’t get hard if you keep them sealed. They’re the perfect little sweet treat after a meal, and honestly, I have to stop myself from eating the whole bag in one sitting. The package is generous too, so you really get your money’s worth. If you love gummy-style candies, you’ll be hooked on these. Definitely repurchasing!

My granddaughter requested these for her birthday. This product tastes like some kind of cleaning solution. There was no "flavor "of any kind associated with any of the "flavors". My granddaughter won't eat them, and frankly, I wouldn't either. They are going in the trash....not even worth my effort for a refund.
