Actually really good thermocouple
I was surprised with the quality of these. I ordered 4 and all 4 worked and accurate. I used them on my exhaust with a mgl gauge with extention wire. The wire insulation is fiberglass (superglue if you need to splice) which is what was recommended by the manufacturer of the gauge, apparently cheaper ones are Teflon and can't be used. I would not hesitate to recommend this purchase. I will definitely buy again.

Worked
You need the write thread tool but after that they work great.

Perfect
I was exactly what I needed.

It is easy to pull the threads apart when tightening
The problem is that between the bottom of the thread and the inner diameter of the threaded brass collar is less than 1/32 of an inch, probably close to 1/64 of an inch, which is the only thing holding the threads together, so it takes very little tightening force to pull the treads apart. The threaded portion is a loose fit 1/4-20. The probe is .15" dia and is loose in the threaded collar. The minor thread diameter specification for 1/4-20 is .210", although this one is even smaller since it is a sloppy fit.

I am not sure about the quality yet. Because I could not use it due to the wrong size description on the website. It says 1/4" thread, but it is actually 1/16".
