Tastes like breakfast cereal!
I'd never even heard of barley sugar, but I was watching a documentary about WW2 and they had a Brit on there talking about it, so I thought I'd check it out. I think if more ppl knew about it, this stuff would be super popular here in the US because it tastes like kids breakfast cereal! If there were a common flavor between the more popular sweet breakfast cereals (think froot loops, fruity pebbles, capn crunch, honey comb, lucky charms), this would be the flavor they share in common. The candies themselves seem about twice the volume of a normal butterscotch disk, but legit taste like cereal milk. I can't wait to share them with everyone I know!

Not individually wrapped.
Not individually wrapped. Can’t throw a few in my purse unless I wrap them myself. Others I’ve purchased were individually wrapped. I unfortunately, I ordered a second box before I received these.not individually wrapped. Can’t just throw a few in my purse.

Absolutely no taste of lemon AT ALL.
No flavor of Lemon at ALL. Sugar disk at best. Very Disappointed with the product. Their in the trash! Expensive Taste Test.

Wanted to try them after watching "Call the Midwife" which mentioned them a few times. I don't particularly care for the taste.

They’re fine
I don’t know what I was expecting when I bought these. I wanted to try them, if you’re used to this or thing then yes it’s a good choice. The packaging outside was good, but upon opening the packaging, I found that there was around six or seven that had already fallen out of the plastic wrapping or all of them were just so poorly wrapped that they were in the process of falling out.

Not a good experience
No flavor or taste. Pure sugar. Awful. When I have had barley sugar in the UK there have been various flavors. Plus, the box was broken and the candy was falling out. Several pieces of candy were crushed. Definitely needs better packing for shipping.
