Wanted to love it, but not enough peel in it. Do you like the dark color and the flavor is fine

The only marmalade I eat…the best.
I love this marmalade. It has the right amount of tartness and peel in it. This is a true English marmalade. I buy it often. I find other brands too sweet. This has a deep orange color with a just right thickness. Nothing nicer than a nice toast with this marmalade on it with a cup of Barry’s tea. Perfect breakfast.

It's real English marmalade.
It's what I grew up with in England and has all the attributes - bitter oranges sweetened to bring out the best flavor, thick cut and chewy rind, and that orange intensity that only English marmalade has. This isn't that overly sweetened orang jelly that passes for marmalade in the US, this is the real thing. Also, it isn't supposed to be easy to spread, so I wouldn't use that as a rating.

Classic bitter rough cut taste
Though not the same brand I find at breakfast when in England, after trying, several other brands sold in America, this is the taste I wanted to find. It has slightly less chopped peel included in the product, does the taste and most of the texture I wanted is there. Definitely recommend it. I am buying several jars to give as gifts to friends, who been seeking classics English marmalade just as I have.

Broken Seal , Leaking - not safe for consumption.
I have bought this several times and love the marmalade. However this time the bubblewrap was sticky with visible marmalade rendering it unsafe for consumption. I am dismayed that it is not returnable or to be replaced except at additional cost. It is pricey. This seems to be a common problem with this seller and I feel ripped off! Very disappointing. I will not order again from them.

Delicious! Just as I remembered from childhood
I was tickled to find the recipe had not changed from my childhood. One jar arrived broken but that was Amazon's fault as they shipped it and they are refunding for the damaged item. The marmalade itself is wonderful and there is nothing else I have ever tried that compares to it.
