Antari F-7 Smaze Machine

I have a couple of the Antari F7 Smaze hazers and they are top notch. This hazer is made for large venues and arenas, so I'm not really surprised the other reviewer complaining about noise when using it in a small room. I use the Antari Z350 Fazers at home, and they are perfect. I'd never use the F7 in a small environment unless I wanted to do fire fighter training or something since it's massive overkill in a small environment. I routinely receive compliments for industry professionals and attendees at how well the lasers I run looks when running the F7. It has dual fog and faze functions as well, and two fluid containers. Be sure to use the Antari FLG line of fluid.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased the Antari F7 from an authorized reseller on 03/10/2020. This unit is used in a small music studio in a home environment and not been used on the road. The unit has less than 20 hrs use. In June of 2021 I contacted Antari about the fan being noisy when connected to DMX. They said this was normal and now the fan has progressively gotten noisier and noiser, that the high pitch noise emanating from the unit is extremely annoying. Sounds like a bad ball bearing. As far as Antari support I wasn't helped in June of 2021 when the unit was under warranty saying this is normal. Now they are not helping saying the unit is out of warranty. Excuse after excuse. If you are a band do not expect very good support when a home user who uses the unit very lightly can't even get support. The video above is showing the unit noise level just after the unit is powered on and warmed up; around 8 minutes. After the unit has been on for an hour or more the noise level increases greatly to the point you will not want to be in the same room with the unit on. With the fan power disconnected from the unit everything is great. Just have to use a small 3rd party vornado fan plugged into another outlet to distribute the fog. Antari blames everything on fog liquid or any excuse they can find when it's actually a bad fan with a bad bearing. When I can take another fan by Vornado or another brand and use them to distribute the haze and they're still working fine and quiet. Just an fyi in case you decide to buy the unit. Make sure you buy the protection plan to protect your purchase otherwise you will stuck with a very noisy machine with no help from Antari.
