Made perfect replacements for kids board games.

Loved this purchase. Grandchildren always fighting over which character they wanted for games. This stopped the fighting. Everyone made their own. No more fighting. Heavy construction. We used markers to write and color with. Stays on, no smearing. Also used stickers and they are still sticking.

A bit rough around the edges, but they work great!

So the bases are injection molded likely with a regrind mixture judging form the flashing. This is fine, you'll see I got a few of them with some embedded dirt of some kind. Also acceptable. I find the white pieces can handle both wet and dry erase just fine with minimal staining. They are paper based I believe. You can also see they aren't cut the best in the world. I would assume the white pieces are hand cut. The bases themselves pinch together nice and tight I uploaded a picture that shows you can spread them a bit so you don't tear up the white pieces trying to force them in. You receive a total of 36 of these things for $11 I wont complain about a few minor details as long as the product works. Would be nice if they shipped them in something other than this cheap box or if they used a bag to separate them maybe. But again it's an $11 product you get what you pay for. If cosmetic quality is important to you don't but this product. If usable quality is important this is perfect. I'll recommend it on that basis alone.

My daughter and I made our own "Among Us" chess set. These pieces worked great. Sturdy enough to make the pieces, but still able to cut half down in size to make the pawns. We used different bases for this set, but that was reasons of preference, not performance, and the bases that came with it worked fine for other game pieces.
