Comfort 3 Men's Refillable 3-Blade Razors with 1 Handle and 12 Cartridges, Smooth Shave Razor Set for Men

Like many men I have permanently sworn off Gillette products. For a while I was using the "BIC" single blade "Metal" disposable razor. Since I found those satisfactory I decided to try a little more deluxe product from the brand. That turned out to be a very good decision. These may be the best shaving and most comfortable disposable razors I have ever used. I don't show you everyday because I have a Van Dyke (Mustache/goatee combination) so sometimes a beard with a day or two growth actually looks complimentary..... I only mentioned that because I have found the cartridges to be very durable and give several comfortable, close shaves before needing to be replaced: In fact I'm still using the same cartridge to shave, I haven't had to replace it yet.

Since you're reading this, I infer you are not new to shaving. You've seen the many ads for expensive, brand-name razors, promising to do everything but pour coffee. Let's face it: a good shave just needs a good blade. Period. And this BIC delivers a great one. My facial growth is light, and one cartridge gives me several WEEKs of shaving. What I spend in a year of shaving, the fancy razor users spend in a couple of weeks. And the BIC gives a great shave.

The blades are sharp and cut well. The value was good. The handle/blade mount mechanism is rather flimsy however, so that is why I'm giving it four vs five stars. The handle is very lightweight, which is good for travel, but doesn't feel as solid than metal handles I've used in the past. I'm pretty sure it will last for the amount of blades bought, but don't think this is a handle you will save to use with more blades in the future...after I use all the blades up, I'm also going to throw the handle away. If the handle breaks before you use up the blades, you won't be able to buy a replacement unless you get another set WITH the handle. This would be a good razor to select for your travel kit...simple, lightweight and partially disposable.

I bought these razors for a recent trip I took. They fit perfectly into my bag. It gives a nice clean shave that makes your face feel smooth. You can use the blades multiple times and it's affordable enough to buy refills without emptying your pockets. It's a great razor and I definitely recommend it.

75 years old, I have used many types of razor over the years. I have a somewhat tough beard and shave daily. These are by far the best I have ever used. Almost to sharp at first after a shave or two they are smooth and comfortable to shave with. They are long lasting and dependable, I get nearly a month of use out of each blade! These are what you would expect from BIC. These are the BIC pen of razors!

These razors do the job, but that’s about it. The blades are not very sharp, so the shave isn’t especially close, particularly if you have thicker or coarser hair. To get a decent result you often need to apply more pressure, which can easily lead to small cuts and skin irritation. Overall, they are functional and usable for basic shaving, but the experience is far from smooth or premium. The pivoting head and three-blade design are fine, nothing exceptional. That said, considering you get 12 cartridges for the price, there isn’t much to complain about. They work, they last a reasonable amount of time, and expectations should be kept realistic. Bottom line: decent for the price, nothing impressive, and not ideal for sensitive skin or those looking for a very close, comfortable shave.

Great razor for my face. I’ve tried many and this is one of the best. Solid value.
