I am very happy with the subwoofer amp. I had to replace my A/V receiver with one that did not have an internal subwoofer amp, and this little amp fit the bill. It works exactly like it did with my previous receiver. If you have passive woofers and your receiver does not have an internal amp for subwoofer output then I highly recommend this little amp. It comes with a crossover switch on the back (B & M). B position is for Subwoofer Mode ( 20 -200hz) M position is for full frequency (20 - 20khz).

I had to replace my previous amplifier with a new Yamaha amp but I wanted to use the existing speakers first since they are mounted on the ceiling. The only surprise I got was that my subwoofer needed a preamplifier to work with the new amplifier. I was thinking about replacing it too but came across this inexpensive alternative. Since I had nothing to loose, I ordered it and was pleasantly surprised. It worked better than I expected and I could adjust the base separately giving me more flexibility to lower or raise the amount of base depending on my mood. You can’t beat this item for the price if you have to preamp a subwoofer.

I got a new Yamaha tuner and it did not have compatible output for my subwoofer. It had an unpowered output and my subwoofer was not powered. I had a cheaper set of speakers and tuner earlier but jumped on this Yamaha because of the deal that Amazon was providing at the time. This device gave me my subwoofer back again. I love it, except for the fact that the box just gets a little bit warm, it’s been working great for weeks now.

I was a little sceptical about this subwoofer amp, due to it's small size and low price. And...I was pleasantly surprised with the sound output after installation. I recently replaced a 20 year old, Home Theater In A Box, 5.2 receiver with a new Sony 7.2 receiver. The old unit had a dedicated amplified subwoofer output, as well as a passive output for an amplified sub. I was running an older Sony powered sub (next to the media stand below the TV), as well as the passive sub that came with the HTIB (behind the couch). The new Sony unit also has 2 sub outputs, but are both passive. So, instead of spending the extra bucks on a new powered sub, I decided to give this little amp a chance. And it delivers! This old subwoofer has never sounded so good. Zero distortion or rattles. Just clean, clear, powerful bass. Actually had to turn down the volume knob to about 1/3, because it was drowning out the rear surround speakers. Well worth the money. Would be cheap at twice the price.

I wanted to find a mono amplifier for my old Velodyne subwoofer. I had bypassed the power supply and internal amp when they both failed. I wanted to free up an old 220w Kenwood for my surround speakers. The sub worked with the speaker cone directly connected to the amp, via the wire terminals. This product arrived with no instructions nor could I find any on their website. I connected the sub out from my Denon receiver and I wired this amp to the sub and turned it on. It worked for maybe ten minutes and then speaker cone began banging again the frame basket. Douk audio customer service was Totally inadequate! They repeatedly said that they could not understand my hookup to the sub. I tried using another speaker and had the same results! I did not even get to raise the volume and the speaker began banging loudly. The product was defective and I told them this several times! THEY DID NOT! Offer to replace it. I’m returning this amp as soon as possible! By the way, Fosi products look exactly like DoukAudio amps.

I looked long and hard for a subwoofer amp, but couldn't find one with the right combination of features. That is, until I found this amp. The instructions are easy to understand, and the craftsmanship looks like expensive higher end equipment. I also like that I can plug in my headphones in to the amp itself, so I don't have 25ft of headphone cable connected to my stereo. I work way too much, and needed to be incentivized to stay in bed a little longer... This is the perfect addition to my existing equipment.

There is definitely not 100w of output here, when my old mp3 amp this was replacing had louder output at only a claimed 30w. I returned this amp immediately and I tried their similar NS-03G under the "Nobsound" branding, and I had the same result. The unit itself looks nice, the materials and build quality are excellent - however the actual would output (the whole point of this device) is lacking.

I have an old 10" powered Kenwood subwoofer. Speaker went out a few years back. I replaced that with a car audio Kicker sub. Then about 4 months ago the amp went out. Bought this amp, drilled a hole in the back of the Kenwood sub, hooked up the Kicker, siliconed the drill hole around the wires and it works amazing! Louder than original. Actually have to use the power level on this at around 40%. Have it in my home gym, around 600 square feet and it sounds amazing. Will pick up another once my upstairs amp goes out.

I two of these have this paired with topping E30 dac, L30 headphone/pre-amp and a pair of old Kef 60S on my desk, one per channel obviously. Much stronger bass / mid-range and improved sound stage compared to my old little class d amp (75W). Separation is improved and crosstalk is pretty much eliminated with this set-up. Definitely Hi Value Hi Fi!

Bought two of these to drive a pair of 10" DVC subs. These things are BALLER! Absolutely love them. They are surprisingly powerful for their size. I originally set them up with the VC in parallel (so 2Ohms) and the amps were not happy at all. They were astonishingly powerful but their overcurrent cut out is missing a bleed circuit so they would get stuck in a feedback loop. Once I rewired for 8 Ohms they worked perfectly. Low pass filter is set for a quite precise drop off around 45 Hz which is where I like it. Drive my woofers well below 20 Hz (but the speakers are dropping off at that point anyways).

Works really good along with my old Kenwood receiver. The addition of a subwoofer makes my old sound systems shine!!!! Now it is 2.1 system! This little amp is compact and enough to drive my 6" passive subwoofer. I just have it cranked halfway and is more than enough to bring those sub-frequencies up to par with the music. Enjoying my music with a new perspective thanks to this little guy. When you get it, don't forget to put the switch in bass mode. Recommended unit!!!!
