The gear itself is wonderful. I can’t speak on how it hold up because my son hasn’t actually worn it yet. But it seems very heavy duty and super protective. It also looks very sharp. My son is 11. He weighs 100lbs and is a little u see 5 feet. He was a little younger than the suggested age but I wanted to get something he would grow into. This equipment is way too big for him. The helmet is too bulky for him to comfortably see out of. The shin guards can be adjusted to manageable. Although they are still very long. Too long imo but he plans to wear those. The chest protector has almost no adjustability. It would work if the straps were adjustable, but they have about a half inch of wiggle room on each side. That’s my main complaint. The equipment is awesome as long as you are the right size for it. But just be aware that it is on the big side. More for a 15 year old than a 12 year old.

Great quality, have used for over 2 year, and even had other barrow it. He has out grown the chin guards so we just order the next size up and we're still using the same cheast protector and face mask. We did order another brand but the chest guard was way to big and sloppy. Plus the quality didn't seem the same. Rawlings makes good catcher gear hands down! You can go straight to there website and order just the chin guards helmet or chest protector if ur kiddo has out grown 1 of the 3 things he wears. It saves u from ordering a whole another set. Kids grown different they don't always fit in the next size up. Velo 2.0 is great quality and price for kids comfort and protection

This is my son’s 2nd set of Rawlings catcher’s gear because he needed to size up. It was his decision to stay with this brand because he felt that it gave him good protection, and the equipment was comfortable. The equipment will last you a long time as long as you take care of it. We air out his equipment after every game and wipe it down when necessary. I also scrub it and use the garden hose to rinse it off at the end of the season and it has held up great!

Great gear! I wish the padding for the helmet was sold separately, specifically, the velcro chin guard/pad since it fell and haven't been able to find it nor can I find a replacement for it

My son loves this set! Fit is great and provides adequate protection. Helmet and mask come off easily.

Super durable. Looks great on the field and the padding feels expensive. Great purchase! Easy to use. Comfortable and lightweight. Has Velcro and adjustable to size.
