Liquid Medical Adhesive - Long-Lasting Non-Water Soluble Skin Bond for Dressings, Tapes, & Devices, Latex-Free, CHG-Compatible

Great product! Highly recommend! I have a medication that is in the form of a week long medicated patch and the adhesive on it is very weak and doesn’t stick well. This stuff takes care of it right away. A little product goes a long way and works way better than skin prep wipes or other adhesives. It stays on through a week’s worth of showers with ease. In the case that a corner or edges start to lift up, no problem, just apply a little more and you’re good to go. It dries quickly, easy to take off and doesn’t hurt your skin when removing. All around a great product and will be my go-to for the foreseeable future.

I’m passionate about this review. Our diabetic dog was struggling with out of control blood sugar. We were able to use an insulin sensor and it was amazing to see his glucose levels without poking him each time. The sensors wouldn’t stay on his skin due to his fur. This product attached the sensors wouldn’t stay to his skin and kept it there. The sensors are expensive and not reusable after they fall off. This is one product that worked far better than I could have imagined.

This glue is exactly what our pediatric endocrinologist said it would be. You get more for less money than the single use tubes… but it is harder to apply. We found unscrewing the top and dipping regular Q-tips made cleanup easier. Otherwise you end up with a lid that’s glue shot. No skin irritation or bad smell.

This stuff worked great to adhere a medicinal patch to my back. I've tried quite a few different products but after a few days the patch would start to peel. Not with this liquid gold. It adheres to my skin like super glue.

I use the Freestyle Libre 3 system with an insulin pump. Ever since the first day I began using this CGM model, I have dealt with the annoying issue of sensors losing their grip and falling off before they have reached the end of their lifespan. Sometimes the sensors falls off with only a day or two left, sometimes it falls off the very same day that it was applied. It has been such an ongoing issue that I have lost track of the number of times I have needed to request a replacement from Abbott. When I noticed this product, I decided to order a bottle and test it to see if it could restore the bond to a sensor that had started loosening. When the bottle arrived, I tested adhesive for that very purpose immediately. Sure enough, the adhesive restored the bond between my skin and the loosening sensor.

3 years I’ve had an ostomy and struggled with my appliance not sticking. Started using this about 6 months ago and I have not had one single leak or sticking issue. It is hospital grade (my surgeon first gave me samples) and great for sensitive skin! 10/10

I love this product,the only thing that holds me for days

Insulin pump infusion sets and CGM sensors are expensive, and insurance pays for only so many per month. Losing one feels devastating. I've tried IV prep pads, which are not quite strong enough and don't always last the 10 days that a Dexcom CGM sensor should stay in place. I also tried Skin Tac, which works as well as Mastisol. The Skin Tac wipes worked okay, but using a wipe worked best when applied to the skin, which caused a sticky, lint-attracking, clothing-sticking mess on my skin. The Skin Tac, though, after a few uses, cannot be opened because the lid glues itself into place. Mastisol works as well as Skin Tac and has a lid that can be screwed off every time. I also like the small size that makes travel easy. The only things I don't like about Mastisol are the cost and the fact that there is no application swab like Skin Tac has. I always have to make sure I have cotton swabs ready - and to make sure I don't lay the swabs directly onto any surface after I dipped them into the Mastisol.
