Yes, the 67 refers to the size of the lens where the cap goes. If you look at the front of your lens you will see the size lens cap you will need, for the 18-135 lens this is 67mm. This will vary depending on the lens type. For example the Canon 70-300 mm lens requires a 58mm cap.

Does this have a string on the inside that can be anchored to the strap so you don't lose the cap if it falls off accidentally?

No It does not have. It is Canon Original cap and canon never made anything with string attached to lens Caps. Hope this answers. ThanksSrinivas
