I love this stuff. I get itches randomly (usually on my feet when I sweat) and all I have to do is dab a small pea-sized amount on the spot, rub it in, and voila!, the itch disappears. Like others, I was dubious of the great price. "4 tubes for $7? That's crazy! There's no way this can work as well as the name brands!" Well, rest assured: it does. I am on my second 4-pack and I will tell you that I will never buy the name brand stuff again. I carry a tube in all the bags I use so I never run out should I have to switch from backpack to purse to carry-on luggage. Seriously. This stuff works. I didn't find it oily or watery at all, maybe others got a faulty batch.

Hydrocortisone 1% is a standardized product, and this is the best value I have found. It works just as well as the name-brand hydrocortisone products, but the price is unbeatable. Highly recommended!
