The monitor is awesome easy setup with no problems
I read all of the reviews before buying and was a little hesitant until I saw a you tube video review that showed how easy it was to set up The monitor does everything as advertised will probably be buying additional monitor's for are store laptops

Great product, only down side is cant adjust the brightness so you cant get the same level as laptop monitor, but otherwise very easy to install and setup, worked immediately as they said, after about 2min for auto detect to install the drivers and power it on

Makes life Easier!
These are great for traveling professionals, i am constantly traveling and flying thru airports and work on the go. Anyone who normally has a second or third screen at their home office feel handicapped while traveling, this fixes that problem. Attaches by magnets and the extra weight in the bag/backback is well worth it...

Wait until Rev 2 comes out, this is junky.
As the other negative review have stated, this will tilt down when open, plus it auto connects every 5 seconds or so. Since I started this review it has blacked out both my laptop and its screen and reconnected 36 times. I counted...This is using the type c to type c, not the adapter provided. The adapter provided takes it to USB and it does the same thing.Its definitely not a computer issue as I have one of the nicest Dell XPS's on the market. Very disappointed in this.Unplugged at 37 times of cutting in and out in just 3 minutes.Trust the 1 star reviews and keep looking.

I loved the concept and tried to use it for a few months but I'll need to find a better product
The concept of this product drew me in. It worked great for the first two weeks. After a while the adhesives couldn't hold up the second screen. I am disappointed and sadly probably can't get a refund. They need to work on a better way to attached the monitor to the laptop that can support it for a long duration. I wouldn't recommend getting this one.

The SideTrak monitor works seamlessly with my laptop and vastly improved my ability to work ,program, and test in the field.

Choppy
Overall the product is very “choppy” and not worth 350$. The quality is in the packaging, not the actual product.The screen has a lot of flimsiness as you pull it out and fully extend it. Also, the screen seems to just turn on and off when it wants to. Gave it a chance for a few weeks. Decided to return it and look for a better product from a more established company.

Must have if you work on a laptop.
The screen is easy to install and connect to the laptop. Very functional when using multiple applications at once. Wish I had one sooner.
