Black & Decker, ScumBuster Cordless Wet Scrubber, Model SB400

I am extremely satisfied with this product. This is my third ScumBuster and I love it. It is the only way I can clean my bathtub to my satisfaction. I don't have the strength to do the job without some additional help and the ScumBuster sure fills the bill. It is light-weight, easy to handle, has lots of attatchments, and performs well. My only complaint is that it only comes with 1 battery. That means an additional purchase of a 2nd battery and they are somewhat pricey.

Battery charger didn't work. End cap difficult to stay on the unit.

The scrub brush is to small. I had one year's ago and it was bigger. Other than that it's a good machine.

Had a Scumbuster 450 with a built-in, non replaceable NiCad battery which had to be plugged in when it ran down. It worked OK, but the battery life was limited so when it ran down, it had to be plugged in to charge for hours. After many years, the battery finally died. Got this model 400 which uses replaceable B&D Versapack batteries. Seems like the same unit, except for the great added convenience of swappable batteries. I also got some Metapro High Capacity NiMH batteries and they make the 400 more powerful and longer lasting then the 450. The Metapro batteries also work better than the Versapack silver battery that comes with this unit which isn't bad, but more power is better, right? My old 450 had a nice caddy with a bunch of accessories that the 400 doesn't come with, which was fine because I don't need all the extra parts. But this 400 comes with a good basic set of accessories. This was the perfect replacement for the main unit. It was NIB, arrived fast, in perfect condition and was very reasonably priced. Very happy with it. This is a step up from a great cleaning tool I've counted on for decades. Thanks.

I don’t recommend, it only works once.

This is what I was looking for, not super powerful, but saves my arthritic hands some wear and tear.

The batteries are lacking power even after charged and the battery charger doesn't work right. Very disappointed.

I was so pleased to get this item after my original unit with its non-replaceable rechargeable battery gave out. The one I was able to get was a used unit through Amazon. It was exactly as described,and is working just great. The batteries on this unit can be recharged, though I do not know if they can be replaced when they give out. The item works perfectly for my need.

I contacted amazon as soon as I got this but to my surprise I was told to cantact Black and decker. They told me that I would have an answer in 2days which has long passed. This is an expensive item and I got it defective. I can't charge it. Please should me now that someone is listening to me.
