Soak Wash - Scentless 12 oz Laundry Detergent

I don't often write product reviews, but Soak has earned every bit of this five-star rating. I first discovered Soak wash a couple of years ago and used it successfully on my athletic and performance clothing, but recently I was amazed by what it did for delicate items. I had a white camisole that had lost its brightness despite being washed with gentle detergent on the delicate cycle and even treated with OxiClean. After soaking it in Soak, it came out pristinely white. The same thing happened with a delicate summer dress that I thought would never look the same again. During the soak, the water turned yellow, which I suspect was residue from detergent buildup or chlorine in the water. After Soak Wash the dress looked new. The water had a yellow tinge to it. I use 1/2 teaspoon of powdered ascorbic acid to neutralize the chlorine in the tap water. At 75 years old, I've tried a lot of laundry products over the decades, and this is hands-down the most effective one I've ever used. These days, I hand-wash almost everything—T-shirts, dresses, delicates—using Soak. The only things I still put in the washing machine are sheets and towels. I also love that it's plant-based and made with thoughtfully chosen ingredients. It's gentle on fabrics, easy to use, and delivers incredible results. Soak wash has completely changed the way I care for my clothes.

I now use SOAK for everything! It’s has been life changing for delicate pieces and I have used it to clean my very dirty wedge sandals. It’s super easy and very effective. I was worried that it would not remove odor or dirt, but honestly, I think it works better than my normal detergent! I am very happy with the results and I think it will give longer life to all of my delicates. It removes dirt and odor, but it also smells fabulous (or not at all if you get the unscented!). My favorite so far is Celebration but I’m also a fan of the unscented because it makes obvious the fact that it isn’t just masking odors, but actually removing them. This is a great soap that cleans well, and washes out easily. Clothes stay soft, without that dried out feel.

Worth the price, gentle on fabrics, smells soo good, & gentle on skin.

I bought this for a cycling trip to Europe. It seems to work well but the cap didn’t seal well. It ended up leaking all over the place. I kept trying to tighten the cap but it wouldn’t close well. Soak replaced the product and I will continue to use it when traveling. However, I will store it in a different bottle. Good product support and nice smelling soap.

I'm not a fan of handwashing, but I've recently begun wearing compression for health reasons, and my washer doesn't 'do' cold water, so here we are. Bonus: all my sweaters are clean now, too! This is the first no-scrub-required detergent I've tried, and I'm impressed! It really does work. A little gentle agitation doesn't seem to hurt, but just leaving the clothes in over night seemed to do the trick just as well. I even used it to loosen up the grime on my AC filters after not cleaning them all winter, and they look good as new. No idea how it works, but I would certainly trust it with anything fiber-ish. I went with 'Lacey' for the scent, and I don't mind it too much though I'll probably try a different one next time. It smells a little like flowers and a lot like bubblegum, but it mostly reminds me of going through a car wash with all the colored foam options. It doesn't linger much after washing, just enough that things smell fresh.

I really love this wash. It works well to wash the clothes, I have used it to wash a sweater that had some dried on food on it and it was able to remove both the crustiness of it and the stain the food had initially left. I have used it on cashmere, wool, and alpaca and it has worked great for everything. It is my go-to wash when I am blocking projects for knitting. I haven’t had any issues with the bottle leaking or breaking or anything like that. It also seems like the bottle will last a while because only one TEAspoon is required per gallon of water which is just an itty bitty amount. It has left all my knits very soft and feeling very clean.

I love how gentle this is, it’s great for handwashing my delicates. I think it’s quite a simple product to use because you can use it as a soak. It’s a bit expensive, but totally worth it if you’ve got a lot of delicates. The scent isn’t super strong, which I appreciate because I’m a bit sensitive. I would totally recommend this product :)

Ho letto di questo prodotto sul blog di Ruth Reichl, poiché è stato altamente raccomandato da lei. Ho dovuto provarlo per me stesso e sono contento di averlo fatto! Un po '(un cucchiaio) a un litro di acqua fa molto, molto in termini di potere pulente e profumo delicato. Anche il venditore ha imballato molto bene l'articolo, quindi è arrivato senza perdite. Molto apprezzato!

Parfait: il suffit de laisser tremper et pas besoin de rinçage: idéal pour bloquer un ouvrage ! Je m’en sers aussi pour les canapés, les tapis , les paillassons et les matelas, j’en suis très satisfaite

Sehr ergiebiges Produkt. Ich wasche damit nach jedem Besuch im Schwimmbad oder am See meinen Badeanzug im Waschbecken aus. Dass kein ausspülen erforderlich ist, ist super, weil es Zeit und Wasser spart. Der angenehme Duft (bei mir Ananas) verfliegt mit dem trocknen der Wäsche ebenfalls, was ich auch gut finde. Die Dosierung ist sehr genau und leicht möglich, wodurch ebenfalls nicht unnötig viel Waschmittel verwendet werden muss.

Was recommended by Peller & Rigby for washing underwear. Has certainly kept mine in shape and colour, so easy to use. Soak 15mins , no rinsing
